It was a pleasant suprise to learn that Matt Wertz, one of my favorite new artists put out a new live EP. The 5 new songs on this album are all as good or better than his original songs and from the sound of it they were all laid down in single takes which is uncommon in today's music world. If you are a fan, or want to be a fan, pick up this EP. Check ITunes if it is too expensive here or go directly to Matt's website and buy it from him!

I love Matt Wertz's Acoustic/Pop/Rock sounding music. Although I do not own this CD, I have listened to pretty much every song. Two thumbs up for this CD, and if you are ever looking for music that gets you moving and makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside, Matt Wertz has the music you have been dying to hear.
P.S. - I also reccomend John Mayer, my personal favorite musician. If you like John Mayer well, you have great taste in music. If you don't like John Mayer or you haven't listened to him, then you should try to listen more to his amazing vocals and *wicked* great lyrics!!! *Wicked is a word that we use here in New England that basically means awesome. |
