3.0 out of 5 stars unable to load on my phone December 13, 2012

purchased and downloaded it. It works on my black & white kindle, but not on my color (android) smart phone. So I returned it for a refund, which Amazon did, I would like to be able to carry the book in color with me while hiking or hunting. Will re-purchase when I'm convinced the issue (with either the book or the phone) is resolved.

clicked 3 stars since that is as close to neutral or no comment as the system allows.

quite a summarized quick reference on the animals. the pictures are great, apt for identification. The descriptions are short and not highly detailed.

2.0 out of 5 stars Extremely limited. January 22, 2014

A select few species covered and very little information on those animals is given. This is more of a pamphlet than a field guide. If you are looking for information that will help you learn about something you are intending to hunt, find another source. Not sure why any state DNR/DOC would recommend this to beginning hunters.

5.0 out of 5 stars Definitely helpful & educational August 17, 2013

Kind of basic, doesn't go into any prolonged details, but covers a huge range of wildlife animals and is definitely helpful for identifying each one of them. Loved the depictions of the foot/paw/etc prints they leave!!
The mapped known-territory ranges seem a little out of date but that could just be from when the book was written. They are enough to get a good general idea 'tho.
