His 3rd CD is definitely his best. Personal bias aside (he's my cousin), he's improved tremendously over the years. The CD is worth buying as there will be 2-3 songs that will immediately become favorites, if not every track!

This album was very well received by the US media and it even had a review in Country Weekly. And deservedly so. Todd Fritsch's music is traditional country, Honky Tonk rooted in Texas. No wonder : he is a true cowboy. Steel guitar, fiddle and even accordion on a Tex-Mex song ("I got Mexico"), all the components of a succesful album are put together here. And to crown it all a voice with a twang and very pleasant to listen to. From ballads like "I don't Live Here Anymore" to "Friends Behind Bar" with a more pulsating beat, everything's good. Todd even composed some of the songs. He is an accomplished artist whose career we'll now be watching closely. And the last track "Cowboy Legacy" a tribute to Chris Ledoux is a treat. He has a clear voice à la George Strait sometimes (Todd is a big fan of him as well as of Garth Brooks). Says Fritsch : "I am country to the bone from top to bottom, and I want traditional country music back" He is the perfect spokesman for it. Listen and enjoy.

Country music has a new sound...and his name is Todd Fritsch. Todd's self titled debut album is some of the newest, innovative country music today. His music is groundbreaking and will make everyone step back and take notice.

This CD has a wide variety of songs so there should be something for everybody to relate too. From the start of the CD in "I Got Mexico" to "Cowboy Legacy" (a great tribute to the late Chris Ledoux) at the end, the songs are done with feeling and strong emotion. You can tell that Todd has put his heart and soul in this project.

The variety of songs Todd performs on this CD shows his outstanding vocal range and versatility. From his performance of "Small Town Radio", "I Don't Live Here Anymore" and "Memory Do Your Thing" make you keep the CD spinning to hear so much more.

The CD continues with "Dancin' In The Rain", "You Know I Would" and the "Bob Wills Song" which gives you time to slow dance with your special one and ramps back up to get your foot tapping and flying around the dance floor. "Corpus Christi Callin'" is a great love song that can make anybody feel a lump in their throat after hearing it.

"Friends Behind Bars", "First Date" and "Walk Softly On The Bridges" finish up the great variety of styles on this CD that is a must have for every country fan. This is the new sound of country music and his name is Todd Fritsch.
