Just because it's a costume shouldn't mean that terrible construction should be expected. When I purchase a halloween costume I'm not expecting top notch sewing or materials but I am expecting it to reach me in good condition and to last at least through Halloween night!
My 7 yr old was super excited about this arriving and we opened the package as soon as it did and immediately I knew we'd be sending it back. The fabric was simply awful, again far less quality then I'd expect even for a costume. The worst part were the seams, threads hanging out everywhere and several places where the stitching was completely uneven or even not sewn through completely. Amazon as always has an excellent return policy and we sent it back, opting instead to tryLil' Mermaid Child Costume - 3T-4T which though the sizing is a bit crazy (order much smaller then you'd think) is everything I could want and more in a costume. Quality was very high and I can tell it will last not only though Halloween but probably long enough for her little sister to wear in the future! |
