An excellent introduction to Bible stories,
By A Customer
This review is from: Toddler Rhyme Bible (Hardcover)
This is a great book to introduce Bible stories to very young children. The print is large with only a few words on each page. The illustrations are very bright using mainly primary colors. Research has shown that beginning readers enjoy rhymes and my son is no exception. The stories hit the high points and cover the major events in the Bible. This is definitely a bedtime favorite that can lead to much more indepth discussions down the road!

My one-year-old daughter and I just love this book! I have some other individual Bible stories for her, but they just didn't hold her attention or interest. Not only does this toddler-sized book accomplish that, but there are quite a collection of stories to choose from! The rhythm and rhymes are fun, and we plan to read from this book every day!

Great baby gift!,

I have purchased five copies of this book and three of the next level rhyme bible. We were given one when my son was two. He requested it every night for at least a year. The rhymes are clever and lighthearted while telling some of the fundamental stories of the Bible.

This is our absolute favorite first Bible. Both of my sons have loved it. It gets lots of requests. I've started giving it as a baby gift.

I was deciding between the toddler version of the Rhyme Bible and the regular version. I chose this one because of the smaller size and I'm glad I did. It's easy to lay in bed with my son, hold it above us and read. My nephew has the other version which is much bigger and much heavier.
The storybook is pretty good. Considering the need to rhyme, the author did a good job with the various Bible stories. My 2 year old son enjoys the book and asks for certain stories each night. My only criticism is actually with the artist. The drawings are inconsistent. I think the artist had a hard time with drawing the same person from different perspectives (front, side profile, at a distance). The characters (Ruth for example) looks like a different person on each page. I also don't like how Jesus is pictured--in a white church choir robe, mostly with his arms stretched out to his sides as though he just stood like that all the time. Considering it's for toddlers, I'd still recommend the book.

The Absolute BEST Bible for Little Ones!,
This review is from: The Rhyme Bible Storybook for Toddlers (Hardcover)
This is my third time purchasing this bible. I have four kids and each copy inevitably gets colored in or torn (and worn) from use. We read it every night. What's GREAT about this Bible are the rhymes. My children have memorized the Bible stories because the rhymes make it easy to do so.
It's the very best way to introduce children to Bible stories that they will remember FOREVER! My oldest is nine and she's never forgotten. If I say the first sentence of the story my kids can complete it because of the ryhme. They want to read from this Bible EVERY NIGHT. It's absolutely fantastic. We bring it to life with melody and actions and the Bible story lessons really stick. I pray this Bible never goes out of print. I'll want to use it with my grandchildren!!!

Great Introduction to Bible Stories,

This book is a great intro for toddlers to learn the bible stories we all know and love. Each story is told in a unique rhyme that covers about 3-4 pages. Pictures are good but I would prefer to see a multi-cultural cast of characters. Overall I am very pleased and my 2yr old can sit still long enough to listen to a few stories at a time.

Our church's ladies group gives these to all our newest members. It's rhyming, rhythmical verse and charming illustrations keep babies very interested in storytime. Makes a great keepsake, especially since early readers enjoy it also.

The BEST Bible Story book we've found!,
This review is from: The Rhyme Bible Storybook for Toddlers (Hardcover)
My daughter got this book when she was around 18 months old, it is 256 pages, with about 4 lines of text on every other page (every other page is an illustration) We read it ALL the way through in one sitting the second week we had it. It is wonderful, the illustrations are great, it holds her attention, it's SO much better than any of the other Bible story books we've tried. I highly recommend it to you and I have given it as a gift myself!!

This book is adorable. The rhymes are terrific, relatively short (so as not to lose child's interest), and to the point. Definitely get this one if you want to make it fun for your child to learn about the Bible stories.
