"Toddlers Together offers 286 activities and ideas that are right for toddlers—stimulating, satisfying, and fun." --Texas Child Care Quarterly

From the Back Cover

Curiosity!
Enthusiasm!
Energy!

Cynthia Catlin shares the joys of working with toddlers. This book is chock-full of "tricks of the trade" from the author's 10 years of teaching toddlers. With over 286 activities and ideas that are "right for them" and not watered down preschool-age ideas, this book helps toddlers in fun ways as they develop from 1 to 3 year olds.

Respect for the unique needs and characteristics of toddlers is evident throughout the book. Suggestions are included for adapting ideas for younger or older toddlers, extending the activities, and creating "Snugly Spots" and "Wow" Activities in the classroom.

Toddlers Together is a great book for todd teachers new to the field and for the experienced ones too. Not only does the book have great activities that the children enjoy, it also lists the skills that the children are mastering. I recommend this book to everyone who works with Toddlers.

I am a stay at home Mom and didn't find the books useful. If I was a teacher it would be great. I was looking for activities to do with my child but it is mostly activities that can be done in a classroom.

This book is good if you are looking for toddler activities. Lots of activites are presented for different toddler ages and abilities. The activities range from simple to difficult as far as the materials the "teacher" has to put together. (You do not need the second book, More Toddlers Together; the 2 together is overkill.) This book seems geared towards small child care centers, but a lot of it works for only 1 child.
