This CD contains the last performance by Elizeth Cardoso, arguably the greatest Brazilian singer ever. She died just months after recording it, in 1990, and conducts here a truly moving performance. As if the "Divine" Elizeth in her last effort were not enough, here she appears accompanied only by late Rafael Rabello, one of the greatest violonists ever to appear in Brazil, dead still very young just a few years later. The CD is a historic masterpiece: beautiful, poignant, moving, simple. I would give it more than five stars if I could.
