This game is a great classic for the genesis. Definitely a must-have game if you own a genesis. I like the animations that were done on this game. Even though the game is 11 years old it still is one of the best games to be made. If you really like the other toe jam and earl you will love this one. It improves in so many ways it's amazing.

Whoa! This game is awesome a lot of 90s dreaded pop culture managed to crawl its way into this game but that's a good thing in a cheesy way. Anyways this game is full of entertaining levels, enemies, fun gameplay, and lots of awesome funky music!

This game is much different from the first and for those who couldn't understand the first one might like this one better. The gameplay is a little bit more straightforward this time around. This time the game takes place on their home planet of funkatron instead of Earth, and guess who invaded your turf, Earthlings! So you got fend off the huge Earthling invasion with exploding jars, Super Jars, Funk Vacs (those are handy sometimes!) and other funky alien powers. Also like in the original Toejam and Earl there is an element of search and collect. A little side mission you can collect some of the creature called the funkapatmus (or Lamont is his nickname) and if you can get him to come out at the end of the game its an awesome ending!

Overall really good game, and even though its different from the 1st one in terms of gameplay its very similar as it is full of cool characters, power ups, good levels, graphics, and replayability.

this game is very addicting! very different than first toejam and earl, but different in a good way! never get tired of it

Apart from what has already been mentioned about this game you also shake trees to get items you need along the way but sometimes get an old tire or garbage can that will hit you in the head if you are not careful. There are places in the game where you must fly up on a balloon.Many fun areas to explore including under water.The graphics are nice and the controls are smooth.You have a choice to play as Toejam or Earl. You will laugh instead of tear your hair out.VERY unique and enjoyable game!!!Not too many of those around nowadays.

This one improves upon the first in many ways, plus you're actually on Funkatron. Jar up nasty earthlings and send them back to where they belong! But do it with style, style only Toe Jam and Earl posess!

First let me say they dont make video games quite as creatively as they used to.I guess its probably because it takes a long time to make a game with 128 bit graphics and Nintendo wants to make money fast.Ive played 16 bit and even 8 bit games that were more fun than anything Ive played on Game Cube and this is one of them.I got Battletoads as a Christmas present for the NES and loved it but it was too hard(I eventually decided to cheat with a Game Genie attachment to see what happens at the end of the game.) About 3 or 4 years later I got Toe Jam and Earl 2 for a present for getting on the honor roll and let me tell you the game is one of the most unique and endlessly fun games you can get.It is very similar to Battletoads but not as frustrating.The graphics arent quite as amazing as 32,64, or 128 bit games but are still cool to look at and the music and gameplay is incredible.If somebody was selling a Genesis at a garage sale I would definitely buy it.Genesis and Super Nintendo still have the best games you can buy no matter what anybody else says.

I grew up with this game and I have many memories with it.It was the first game I beat by myself and I was real proud.I haven't played it in a long time, or even seen it.It's realy nice to see people haven't forgot about it.It's probobly the best Genisis game of all time, except for Sonic and Knuckles of course.I hear they're making a sequel for the Dreamcast soon and I am most deffinatly gonna get it.It's the greatest!

Fun game, but the first one is way more entertaining. I had fun playing this with my buddies since the first one is way over priced.

Anyone would like this game.
