5.0 out of 5 stars Sizing info as listed on the ToeSox Website
I read many reviews before buying a pair of ToeSox. The only reason I am writing this is because I noticed a lot of people had questions about sizing. I found the sizing information on the ToeSox website and have listed the ToeSox sizing (according to the webpage):

Women
XXS - Child
XS - 3-5.5
S - 6-8
M - 8.5-10.5
L - 11-13...

2.0 out of 5 stars A number of improvements needed. but just ok.
numbered not in order of importance.

1) they shrink more than little if you wash them alot in warm water...this is especially a problem when it comes to putting on "your toes".
2) the cotton is too thin for me and most good organic cotton socks like some of the Maggies line and it seems like it thins and fades too fast after use....more dense soft...

5.0 out of 5 stars Great! Great! Great!, April 17, 2007

These socks are absolutely the best. I take pilates classes and if it is hot your feet can slip off the mat. (Not good in the middle of a side plank!)Anyway these socks keep your feet planted and dry. One note; make sure not to order them big, the idea is that they should be snug!

5.0 out of 5 stars Comfort for your toes, April 30, 2007

I tried these socks even though I thought they were a little pricy. They are great! I have two pair and use them every time I do my Pilates exercises. They grip and do it well. They keep my feet warm, too. They also wash beautifully over and over again. Excellent quality and performance on the floor, mat and foot bar for your investment.

3) the protective studs are not dense enough to make for a breakthrough in 'sock technology'.
4) t00 pricey for what they end up becoming.
5) I recommend buying yourself one pair in a size larger if possible, and pick one with color (not white)

1.0 out of 5 stars RIPOFF, April 15, 2011

I have a few pairs of toe socks (not sure if any are from this company) and I love them.
The Injinji yoga socks are especially outstanding. Amazon was out of those, in the color and size I wanted.

So I ordered another pair from ToeSox, and when they came, they don''t fit. I followed the manufacturer's recommendations and ordered a large (I wear a 10.5 shoe), but they're just very difficult to get on (and I'm used to putting toe socks on), and once on, they're really too small and just don't feel right. I have pretty normal feet, but these socks are apparently not designed for the human foot.

Well, OK, no biggy. They don't fit; I decided to return them. That's a lot of hassle, they don't cost all that much, so if I'm going to return them they definitely must not fit. So I look on the instructions and the first thing it says is, DON'T OPEN THEM! I've never heard this before in my life. I ordered them online; I didn't have a chance to try them on in the store. I order stuff online all the time, usually never return it, but occasionally I have to, and I've never heard this, that I can't return it if I've opened it! That's kind of like saying we don't allow any returns; anyone would open it!
How would I know that they don't fit if I didn't open them??

So I call, and ask about it, and what I found out is that first of all, I'm wrong, the manufacturer's recommendations are always right, everybody else loves them, I must be crazy. And secondly, they WILL take them back, but there's a 35% restocking fee! Plus the shipping!..
So I don't know; they only cost $15, it's not a big deal, it may not be worth the trouble to return them, but
for me, they're crappy, badly designed socks that don't fit right and really aren't the size they were supposed to be; it's an unsatisfactory product, if not quite defective, and they won't take them back (well, OK, they take them back, but they rip you off for one third of the price).
The 35% restocking fee has to represent more than their profit, so what they're doing is keeping their profit, and I don't get to use the product.
They'd rather keep their profit on this one pair of socks than keep a customer.

I'll never buy anything from these people again, and I recommend you don't either.
I personally couldn't rate these socks very highly, but they might fit someone else, you might like them okay; if they'd taken them back with a full refund, I wouldn't have bothered reviewing them. The one-star rating is for the predatory "return policy".

4.0 out of 5 stars My 2nd review, March 17, 2007

I wrote a rave review of these the day I got them. They were absolutely terrific and gave me purchase doing yoga on a slippery rug. However, the next time I wore them for a longer session, they got stretched out. My toes kept falling out of them and they became twisted around my feet and just generally got in the way.

I put on a new pair for another session and when doing any lunges or poses with my legs in a wide stance, they were very uncomfortable.

Oh well. The "concept" is great, but they don't really work unless you're doing very little movement. I wish someone would come up with something like this that does the job!

Great idea, but poorly made. Material is thin and very restrictive. They seem to be sized for a very petite foot with long skeleton toes. The toes are tight, way too tight, and I bought both my "correct" size and a pair a size larger. I don't have fat feet, webs, or extra toes ;-), but I do have a wide footprint with short toes. The stiching doesn't "give" at all, there are seams at the toes, and they actually cut off circulation to the toes. Beware if you don't have "perfect" model's feet, or if foot care for a health issue like diabetes is a priority for you. I'm sure they probably fit perfect on some feet, but they didn't work out on mine.

5.0 out of 5 stars The best workout socks yet!, October 8, 2007
Wow! I've been wearing toe socks for workouts for more than a year now and love the toe articulation for dance, Pilates and Yoga moves. The non-slip dots on these make them perfect for moves (e.g. downward dog, lunges, ballwork) where a firm grip on the floor or mat is essential. These look good, fit me very well and stay up through the whole workout without sliding off my toes. Wish they came in more colors, though: violet, lavender, teal, turquoise, green would be nice (manufacturer, are you listening?)

4.0 out of 5 stars Really neat for sweaty feet, May 6, 2007

As someone who has a thyroid problem but truly enjoys yoga, the amount that I would sweat impaired my ability to concentrate during certain positions. These socks have given me confidence and the ability to relax into completing my stretch, rather than worrying I'm going to slip. Comfortable enough to wear around the rest of the day, my only problem is the toes can be a little itchy until they are washed a few times. I really like them overall though!

I love these socks. Great for a group setting for hygenic reasons and they really keep you from not slipping. Very sticky bottoms.
