a great manga for one based on a game,

In the latest volume of this series, some more background/information is revealed on key players in the plot. The violence goes up a notch as well, as outside forces come into play. One definitely feels sorry for all the abuse that the main character, Akira, goes through, as his situation only seems to grow worse each day. Despite the series' dark tone, there are still amusing moments to be found from secondary characters, and once again the volume ends with a cliffhanger. For a manga series based on a Japanese game, the world feels very complete and compelling. And of course for the BL fans out there, it's always welcome for there to be a ratcheting up of tension between such handsome characters!
