another hauntingly beautiful addition to the evanescence collection...,
By lori (murray, ut) - See all my reviews

Fans of "The Open Door" should be sure to download this previously unreleased track from one of the best albums of the past five years. The uniquely ethereal, enthralling sound of Evanescence permeates "Together Again," from Amy Lee's soaring vocals to the fantastic orchestral performance of the rest of the band. I wish this had been included on the 2006 album, but I'm certainly happy to have something new to enjoy in 2010!

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Together Again (Audio CD)
this is a great uplifting song from janet. the remixes are also awesome.01 together again (radio edit)- the original version but edited a bit. 02 together again (tony humphries club mix)- a great club remix which has the Janet intro (a bit different to the original). 03 together again (dj premier 100 in a 50 remix)- slower sounding remix. vocals sung different, still good. 04 together again (jimmy jam deep remix)- sounds like track 3because it is sung slower again, the same as track 3. 05 together again (tony moran 7" edit w/janet intro)- exactly the same intro as the original. faster, my favourite mix on here. 06 together again (jimmy jam deeper radio edit)- this is the deeper remix. the same one available on the dvd video collection from janet. to damita jo- the videos. great single, you should buy it if you can.

New Album,
A Kid's Review

Evanescence is finally coming out with a new album! I went onto their website, and Amy was talking about it. I think they're experimenting with an electro-pop sound. It's supposed to come out this Fall. I think this song may be on it. The first song she wrote is called "Hi-Low". The title may change, though. Think Fall!

This album is off the hook. The 5 remixes are very good.1.Jimmy Jam Deep Remix: Slower than original. The best remix on this album. 2.Jimmy Jam Deeper Remix: Much slower tone. 3.Tony Moran 12" Club Mix: Tribal beat. Good remix. 4.Tony Humphries Club Mix: Upbeat oceanic Beat. Cool remix. 5.DJ Premier Just Tha Bassz: Like Track 1 with more bass of course. Without some sounds though.

Great Song, With Interesting Remixes,
By

Together Again is an overall great song in that it's peppy and lighthearted, but then the remixes show how the song can have a completely (and actually better) side to it (the Deeper Remix is one of Janet's best slow songs). If you like the song as it is on the radio, and you like Janet, then the Deeper Remix is worth it alone, but then there are also 4 other versions offered. JJ does it again.

This is one of Janet's best songs. It is an uplifting and joyous song, very suprising considering that it is about the lost of a loved one. The remixes are soooo good and just as good as the original version. They are very diverse remixes and very fun to listen to the different versions of the track!

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Together Again (Audio CD)
There are three versions of Janet Jackson's "Together Again" singles album.Album or version 1 Three remixes and another song Album or version 2 Five remixes Album or version 3 Six remixes If you are able to find the albums with the five or six remixes of Ms. Jackson's "Together Again," I recommend that you get those albums, rather than the one with four songs on it. The one I received in the mail was the first version.

Together Again - Version 1,
By JM "JM" (My Room, Florida) - See all my reviews

What a great CD!!!The tracks are listed as so for Version 1: 1. Together Again [Radio Edit] - 4:08 2. Together Again [Jimmy Jam Deeper Radio Edit] - 4:00 3. Together Again [Jimmy Jam Deep Radio Edit] - 4:16 4. Got 'Til It's Gone (Feat. Joni Mitchell and Q-Tip) [Ummah Jee Day's Revenge Mix] - 3:45 Track 1 is like the album version, but without the slow into and a faded ending. Track 2 is the same version available on "From janet. To Damita Jo: The Videos", but with a faded ending. Track 3 is strange, but don't get me wrong, it's still good, but it's my least favorite track. Track 4 is awesome, but not better than the original "Gone". This version is the best one, in my opinion. Janet truly went above and beyond for this single!!! Good job Janet!!! I can't wait for "20 Years Old"!!! |
