NOTHING BETTER THAN THIS MUSIC.. REGGAE.. TO INSPIRE YOURSELF...

NADA MEJOR QUE ESTA MUSICA, REGGAE, PARA INSPIRAR EL ALMA...

LO RECOMIENDO BASTANTE

I came across this Chilean reggae band while vacationing in Chile in 1999. The 3rd track - Sentimiento Original - was being played quite a bit on the radio and had some great hooks vocally and rhythmicaly. While mostly spanish lyrics may keep many gringos away, they would be missing out on some great music. The solid orchestration of skilled drumming, driving bass (of course), tasty guitar colors and leads,and powerful horns -that build texture not often found in reggae - settles on the soul with happiness and dance. While not every track is a 4 star . . . it is a solid disc all the way through.

Here's a great group that's highly respectful of the reggae ethos--they're Chilean and sing mostly in Spanish, but one listen and you'd swear they came straight from Jamaica. Produced by a guy from Washington, DC, they traveled to the States to cut the album.

This is a tasty, rock steady set of tunes with enough variety to keep your toe tapping and a grin on your face. Alternating between major and minor keys, they sing of Jah, war, love, and clouds from heaven.

If you like reggae, this is a great addition to what you already got.
