Sumptuous Saxophone for Dreamy Contemplation,

While wandering about the tiny town of LaConner, WA (where the tulips live) I found this CD and could not resist buying it after I listened to just one track. This CD was mastered with advanced 24-Bit Mastering technology, a process that captures additional digital information and improves the sonic integrity of each recording. To say this is "exquisite" does not even do the quality justice. It is rather impressive.
If you want to drift away into absolute musical bliss and forget the world exists, this should be part of your CD collection. It is difficult to describe music this perfect (words get in the way) and each Avalon recording has been created to suit a specific occasion. Each arrangement is woven with a sense of elegance and sophistication. These are familiar songs, however Glendon Smith has dipped these favorites in sumptuous saxophone and they are dripping with romance: Songbird The Closer I Get To You By Your Side I Know I'll Never Love This Way Again My Eyes Adored You From This Moment On Love Will Lead You Back If Ever You're In My Arms Again Right Time of the Night Tonight, I Celebrate My Love Words Get In The Way Best of My Love Kenny Vehkavaara - Guitar Attila Fias - Piano Pat Kilbride - Bass Randy Cooke - Drums Romantic Saxophone takes you to the "in love" high in a matter of notes. I'd say this was music to kiss to or music you want to listen to with someone you love. It is also perfect if you just want to escape into a world of dreamy contemplation.
