A decent book, describes each episode, cast lists etc. I was a little disappointed there wasn't more of the backstage stuff chronicled. Like, what was the real story between Ricky and Jason Bateman? Did Rick really hate him? Was it Rick's parents who forced Jason off the show? Were they so afraid that Jason's growing popularity would take away from The Ricker's? You won't find the answers here.

I really enjoyed this book. It was well written and thought out. It gave the cast - the well respected recognition- they deserved. The show had a great cast!!! Joel Higgins, Erin Gray and Ricky Schroder. All gifted and talented in their own way!!
Here's hoping to season 2 on Dvd in the hear future. But in the mean time!!! the memories, the cast and the episodes will be kept in words. The show will always live on in my books. It was one of the best shows of the 80's !!! It was a warm , fun , and interesting show to watch. The shows plots and storys were real as they are still true today. Some episodes include, ( divorce ) Saint Louis Blues, ( Child Abuse ) Spare the Rod, ( Kidnapping) Babysitters, ( pregnancy) Daddy Rick to name a few. all the best - and keep on reading - great job Judith |
