Over Tank Toilet Paper Dispenser and reserve roll storage Holder in Bronze by InterDesign

I purchased one of these in bronze and three in chrome for the bathrooms in my house (built in 2004). They are very stylish and matched my other bathroom accessories wonderfully. Unfortunately, when I hooked them onto the tank, I realized that the lid could not close all the way because it has a groove in the exact width of the tank edges built in to it (if that makes sense). Since my previous tissue holders fell off the wall, I decided to leave these and see how they work, despite the slightly open toilet top.

It has now been 3 months and I'm back looking for some replacements:
1. not only does the lid stay open, but the tilt on the lid makes me hesitant to put anything on it (I really liked my reed diffusers).
2. having to reach all the way around to grab toilet paper while sitting down is not exactly a natural, or easy, movement...
3. because the hook is too wide, sometimes the holder will rock and make a clanking noise against the tank.
4. tearing my triple-ply toilet paper from a strange angle has resulting in 80% tear rate, which leads to messy toilet paper edges =(

All-in-all, eye-appealing but minimally functional.

Nice looking and works great to hold and extra roll of tissue, but on newer toilets, the flushing handle is on the side of the tank, and on all three of mine, it happens to be on the side that the holder should go on. That means the top part is facing backwards, so I can only use it to hold one roll of paper. That's ok though, it serves the purpose.

My toilet top is not like the one in the picture so therefore when in place it leaves a ugly gap between the top and the tank which I do not like and I'm looking for another storage unit for my tissue. After I spent $4000 pimping out my bathroom I don't want to see no gaps.
