More About the Author

Clamp, stylized as CLAMP, is an all-female Japanese manga artist group that formed in the mid 1980s. Many of the group's manga series are often adapted into anime after release. It consists of their leader Nanase Ohkawa, who provides much of the storyline and screenplay for all their works and adaptations of those works respectively, and three artists whose roles shift for each series: Mokona, Tsubaki Nekoi, and Satsuki Igarashi. Almost 100 million Clamp tankōbon copies have been sold worldwide as of October 2007.

5.0 out of 5 stars Prologue to Pain, March 31, 2011
This review is from: Tokyo Babylon, Vol. 7 (Paperback)
Subaru has realized his true feelings for Seishiro... only to realize the one he fell in love with is not who he seems. Will this betrayal cause Subaru to remove himself from the world forever? Or does Hotaru, Subaru's beloved twin, has a plan to bring him back from the abyss? This volume's tragic plot leaves a reader in tears so be sure to have a tissue box handy. This volume also sets one up for the Clamp series X/1999 in which Subaru and Seishiro plany a critical part.

5.0 out of 5 stars Not really the end!, July 4, 2011

This volume was great. It was nice to finally see Subaru and Seishiro settle their bet. I'm not going to give out a big spoiler, BUT at the end of this book you may feel a bit frustrated, as if there wasn't really an ending...well Subaru and Seishiro's struggle continues in another CLAMP series, called X or X/1999. It was interesting to see how Subaru's character transformed and changed at the end of the book. It was actually a bit sad. Overall, I loved this series and will definately be reading X to see how Subaru gets revenge on Seishiro.
