3.0 out of 5 stars Tokyo Mew Mew A La Mode
Tokyo Mew Mew A La Mode is a good book. But I was very disapointed when I finished this series cause it wasn't as good as Tokyo Mew Mew. There were no aliens, no Kish. Also, it seemed liked Mint, Lettuce, Pudding, Ichigo, and Zakuro were not important characters of the book. There were a lot of things missing in the Tokyo Mew Mew A La Mode series that I liked in Tokyo Mew...

Ryou, being a gentleman, gives Berii a small sample of cookies, cutrosy of Cafe Mew Mew. Berii follows him so she can say thank you to him and goes into Cafe-Mew Mew, looking for him. She then slips and falls, knocking over cupcakes, cookies, cakes, brownies and all sorts of pastries and the typical Berii gets embarrased and runs off, running into the experimental Mew Mew project that Ryou is working on, giving her the DNA of a cat and rabbit. From then on, she must battle the Saint Rose Crusaders and their 'minions.'

Keep on going, Mia! ^-^

5.0 out of 5 stars Berry good book, ha ha!, June 4, 2005
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Tokyo Mew Mew A La Mode, Vol. 1 (Paperback)
Ichigo, the leader of the mew mews has gone on a study trip to London, which leaves the 4 other girls working hard at the mew mew cafe, one girl short. All seems normal, but a little later the 4 girls meet a new girl at school who had transfered from another school because she liked this school's outfits. Her name is Berry, and she is about to find out a big suprise: that it's her destiny to save the whole world from evil! But the other 4 girls get a suprise to:Berry is the first mew to have 2 animal D.N.A.'s! Berry is combined with a cat and a rabbit! It's a good thing they found, and got Berry to join up with them right away, because a new group of bad guys (who are worse than the cynaclones),called the crusaders, have come to take over the world, and their head leader loves rabbits--THAT ARE COOKED AND SERVED FOR DINNER! Ichigo has lots of suprises in store for her when she comes back from her studying trip in London!

A Kid's Review
This review is from: Tokyo Mew Mew A La Mode, Vol. 1 (Paperback)
This book, I have to say, is better than the Tokyo Mew Mew series for two reasons. One: The artwork is cuter. Two: The series is more hyper than Tokyo Mew Mew. Gotta love hyper! I love this manga soooooo much! This manga definetly deserves five stars. Good job, Mia Ikumi! *claps*

I am a huge fan of Tokyo Mew Mew. I got this book recently, and it's the best Tokyo Mew Mew book! Berry is the first Mew Mew with 2 animal genes, a rabbit and a cat. Ichigo has gone to England to be with Masaya, so Berry becomes the new leader of Tokyo Mew Mew. Tokyo Mew Mew a la Mode is a must-have!

A Kid's Review

Ok, I will agree that this book wasn't the best, but Berri's cool, she's not stupid! I will agree that Ichigo SHOULD remain the leader, but, I mean really, Berri's BARELY cat at all! The only thing she has that is cat is like, a tail, that's it. Wow. She's more like, 2% cat and like 40% Rabbit, in my opinion. Mia Ikumi kind of rushed things a bit in this one, but I will agree that the very first ever Tokyo mew Mew book was by far the best. My main question is, is Ichigo going to get her powers back? I really think they should've put a different picture on the front cover of Tokyo Mew Mew a la Mode Vol. 2.

(... never mind.)

What in the world happened here? Ryou is sooooo STUPID!!!! I don't like Berry! I wish Ichigo's powers will come back, I don't want Berry to take her place and over-power Ichigo!!! Ichigo's my favorite character!!!! Ugh! I'm so mad! >:( I liked the original series way better. >:o But I'm still checking out the next volume, just because I want to see what happens to Ichigo and if she beats up Berry to show her her place! A Kid's Review
This review is from: Tokyo Mew Mew A La Mode, Vol. 1 (Paperback)
I ordered this book and its about a girl named Berry. she goes to an all girls school and becomes the first mew mew to have 2 sets of animals in her DNA; Rabbit and Cat! In the first chapter she gets caught by Ryou one of the people that run Café Mew Mew. Then he invites her to Café Mew Mew. Ichigo the old leader of Tokyo Mew Mew is away in England with Masaya, but comes back in ch. 5, i think. The evil aleins are gone only to be replaced with the Saint Rose Crusaders. Most of them are teachers at Berry's school! This is a really great book and if you havent read the origanial series "Tokyo Mew Mew" I think you should read it before Tokyo Mew Mew a La Mode!
