About the Author

Ben Simmons was born in 1952 in Columbus, Georgia. His photographs have appeared in several books and in such magazines as Time, National Geographic, Vogue, Vanity Fair, Geo, Stern, and Figaro. He lives in Tokyo, Japan where he has worked as a professional photographer since 1984.
