Bought this as a replacement pocket knife for everyday use. It arrived extremely sharp and has a very fluid feel to its operation. The reversible option with the clip allowed for easy carry. It does work better with a flat type front pocket such as jeans as opposed to khaki type pants where the pocket opening is more vertical as the knife does protrude more than my previous carry knife.

The knife is well made and very durable. I expect this knife to last for many years and would buy again without hesitation.

Good size, quick to open - when you want it to, well sharpened very educational item. Good fit/feel in my hand. Since I just got it I can't say much more yet, but Amazon asked now, so..... I just hope this is not being discontinued.

Only note : do wish the pocket clip was slightly looser - this does not attach to or release from jeans at all easily. I would like that fixed/changed - just a little bit!! With all my Kershaw/Onion designed items.

I do like this knife, however the assisted opening feature is not 100% reliable and will not fully deploy the blade all the time. To me this is unacceptable as I purchased this knife for duty use. I could not in good conscience recommend this knife to anyone. It's been back to the factory twice now and the issue with the assited opening has not been addressed, but hey they did move the pocket clip for me.

Love love love this knife. I carry it all the time. It just disappears in my pocket. I forget it's even there. Which is good for how beefy it is. In fact I like it so much it making me want buy its big brother. The grip on the handle is like non other I've seen. I love that the handle is flat not rounded. This is key for concealment in you pocket. It's sharp as all bleepidy bleep and that locking sound when you deploy the blade never gets old.

I don't really write reviews because I buy way too much stuff on Amazon. But I was so impressed with this knife, I took the time to write a review. This knife is very solid and very smooth. I've probably opened it 1000 times already and it never fails to fly open and lock into place. I own an assortment of knifes from spyderco, cold steel, rat 3, sog. But this is by far my favorite knife. Much more solid than the spydercos I own (and I really like my spydercos). And it remains pretty sharp. The only complaint I have about it is, if you cut a lime with it. The black coating turns gray.

A fair trade, in my opinion, for the Benjamin. The knife is well constructed and feels balanced when holding or opening. The clip is also strong - no worries about it going anywhere when wearing it all day.
