Book Description

October 1, 2009
This book was created for boneheads who occasionally forget numerical tolerances of fracture acceptability, complex classification schemes, and other important and unimportant orthopaedic trivia. For those who like to quote "the literature," this book will enable them to do it with precision. And for those who have to listen to people quoting "the literature," this book will enable them to abort the propagation of erroneous numerical data.

5.0 out of 5 stars Tolerances, November 9, 2005
This is an awesome shirt pocket book that all the residents carry at my program. It has a lot of key information that I often forget or have to look up in texts and so has saved me a bunch of time. For instance if you look up "humerus" you can find acceptable angulations, indications for surgery, classifications, epidemiology... Very small, concise, and inexpensive.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent, concise reference, November 29, 2005
Geared for anyone who is needing constant reference to numeric tolerences for orthopaedic fractures. A must have for orthopaedic residents, but very applicable for med-students, Attendings or anyone needing a good reference guide. It's small and portable, this is definitely a 5 star buy for the price.

This is THE pocketbook for the orthopaedic practitioner. I carried it throughout residency and it has saved an amazing amount of time. Immediate access to acceptable tolerances and surgical indications without having to run from the ER to the library.
