We bought these stacking cups to take to China for our adoption, because they are very compact when nested. Our new son [...], loves stacking them, and concentrates very hard on which ones fit together. The colors are great, and our kids can play with them in the tub. The only drawback is that there isn't any versatility. The cups stack in a particular order, and that is it. They are probably more educational than fun, since there are different geometric shapes on the bottoms of each cup, and different colored patterns on the rims.

I bought these for my 22-month old daughter. I should have ordered these for her a long time ago, I think any baby 6 months or over would love these. They are VERY durable, heavy plastic. They are different colors with different designs on top and different shapes on the bottom. When my 22-month old got these, I thought she might be too old for them, but she loves them! She also likes to put other toys inside, etc. Toys R Us had no stackers and I had looked places, I think stackers in general are hard to find, I'm so glad I found these.

I bought these before my daughter was born and gave it to her when she was five month old. She start playing with them immediately and she is still playing with them (she is 10 month now). I stack them for her to take them apart, put small things in each one for her to take out. They also make perfect bath time toys - your baby will be busy picking them up and sunk them in water. It is the cheapest thing I bought so far and she keeps having fun with them.

This toy is a must have! I bought them for my 9 month old and he loved them from day one! He is now 1 year old, and they are still his favorite toy to play with. He loves to knock them over when they are in a tower position. They are very durable. My son often throws them or drops them from a shelf onto our hard wood floors and they have never chipped or cracked. You can also talk about the colors and shapes and the different sizes of the cups. The tolo stackers are worth every penny! Trust me, you will agree.

These cups were a present for my 16 month old niece at Christmas. She began playing with them as soon as they were opened up and she had no interest in seeing anything else! I am also a teacher working with infants and toddlers with disabilities and have shown so many parents the simple pleasure children get from stacking and nesting cups. No batteries, lights or electronic beeps necessary!

These stacking cups are fantastic on so many levels; colorful, durable, fun to stack, and fun to with water (or cheerios, etc). I have yet to meet a toddler that doesn't enjoy playing with these cupd in the bath, sandbox, or anywhere else. They are light enough to be easily portable (great traveling toy) and simple enough to alow a child's imagination to run wild as they play. A must have for babies and toddlers!

I don't know what it is about these cups, but my daughter LOVES them! She has had them for two months now and they are always one of the first thing pulled out of the toy bin.She is now 15 months and she still plays with these daily. I think she likes the bright colors and the shapes that are on the bottoms. I am trying to teach her the colors. She is really good at getting them stacked up, if not she will sit there until she gets it figured out. At the end of the day, I do clean them with dish soap and let them air dry overnight. My daughter puts everything in her mouth right now and I want to make sure they are clean when she picks them up again. I am very happy she is happy with them. They are made incredibly well and have not chipped even though they have been thrown down on wood floors. I would highly recommend these.

Stacking cups are my boys favorite toys. We bought 2 types, this one and some with holes in them to let water drain out.
My complaint with both types is if you lose a cup, they become rather useless, because you need all of them in order to stack them. Must go in order. But that is true of both of our sets. They are a quality plastic, and my boys LOVE them. They learn so much from them, and it is appropriate for a wide age range. They started really early (6 months I think?) putting one cup inside another cup, like the smallest one inside the biggest one, but now at 15 months they can stack 3 cups, then take it apart and nest them. They also put small toys in them, and again, this is something they start doing very early, but they are still great learning toys for toddlers as well. The ones with holes are perhaps better bath toys though, because they can see the water drain out, but these are heavier, and more interesting with the different shaped bottoms and designs. Also there is something to be said for being able to pour the water out if used as a bath toy. Get like 4 sets of stacking cups. There are some at Ikea for $2.50, so get 2 of those, then get some with holes in them, and get these. There is no better infant / early toddler toy then stacking/nesting cups.

Our 6 month old loves these. Lots of fun to stack, nest, throw, etc. And nice bright colors and patterns that really seem to get (and hold) his attention!

These cups are amazing. My son lights up every time we pull them out. He is 8 months old now and has loved them for at least two months. I know he will continue to play with them because right now he mostly just chews on them and bangs them together - he hasn't figured out stacking, nesting, filling with water, sand castles, etc. They are the perfect toy for traveling since they are so compact and versatile. Although I did regret bringing them to my baby yoga class since the banging and excited noises my son made were a bit distracting.
