In case you missed it the first time around, Michael Knight's excellent Rainbow Six strategy guide has been updated to include the new missions, operatives, and features of the Eagle Watch expansion pack. Though it includes only five new missions, the Eagle Watch expansion is incredibly challenging, so even grizzled Rainbow Six veterans may need a helping hand from this excellent guide. Including the wealth of information that was covered in the original strategy guide, this updated volume covers all of the basic weapons, the many special-purpose items, and each Rainbow operative in detail. For each mission, you'll get a rundown of the situation, the opposition, and the layout of the region so that you can plan and execute an effective battle plan. If you already have the original Rainbow Six book, you probably won't want to shell out the extra cash for this one. But if you're new to the world of Rainbow Six, this guide is the second best companion you can have for fighting the forces of terrorism--the indispensable Heckler & Koch MP5SD5 submachine gun being your best companion, of course.

This strategy guide has helped me though some of the more difficult missions of the game. It contains maps of the levels, objectives, best team assignments, and great strategies. If anyone is having difficulty completing a level, in either Rainbow Six or Eagle Watch, I suggest you get it, A.S.A.P.

...until you have purchased the Rainbow Six Strategy Guide. This guide has helpful info on missions, weapons, enemies and counterterrorism tactics. It is a must-have for any hardcore Rainbow Six gamer. This is the book you have been waiting for.

I think that the book was very informative and covered some areas that normally would not be covered in the game manual. The book offers mission details. I would recommend it only to those who have already beaten the game...if you want the full affect of the STRATEGY
