Very thorough walk-through and tips...just one problem..., September 27, 2010

Overall, this is a very detailed walk-through of the game. It has all the details of the weapons: damage, range, accuracy, penetration, mag capacity, fire modes and unlock criteria. It covers tactical aids such as shields, riot gear, smokes, tear gas and much more. It tells you where the checkpoints are in each chapter...thats a big help as the game makes you go a long ways before you get to some checkpoints, and you can't save progress...only checkpoints save the day. The maps are also beneficial along with armor descriptions, achievement unlocks, upgrade unlocks and multiplayer hints, this has it all.
A few downsides for me. The first being it is more of a magazine style in size and quality paper. So it will fold, crease and tear very, very easily. The biggest drawback for me is the ridiculously small screen shots they have on the pages to represent your position in the game. Each screen shot is about 1 inch by 1.5 inches...that's all. Not to mention a lot of the game and therefore screenshots are very dark, and basically show you nothing. Good thing there is a description of the walkthrough.
Otherwise, this is a great manual and will help me save Vegas the 2nd time around!
