4.0 out of 5 stars The best game on the N-Gage yet.
The N-Gage, Nokia's new console, launched without any great games. The first one that is a "must-buy" is Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell.

Graphics are excellent for a handheld game. Animations are precise, and it is not blurry at all. Sound effects are okay, but there are not many besides footsteps and guns firing. Gameplay tries to replicate the stealth gameplay...

Gameplay tries to replicate the stealth gameplay of the console versions, but comes up a little short. You can hide in closets, pick locks, and walk quietly, but that is all. If you played the Game Boy Advance version, you will notice this is indentical, although it has a couple more levels. It is easy to control, with walking set to the D-Pad, and other actions on the numbered keys.

This version of Splinter Cell is also the first to feature a multiplayer mode, but it is lacking. Teamplay mode allows two players to work cooperatively through some of the game's one player stages. It is fun, but too easy. The other mode is Sniper, which has you competing against the other player to see who can snipe the most enemies. It gets tiring really fast.

Splinter Cell for the N-Gage is a good game, and better than the Game Boy Advance version. Buy it if you are looking for a 2D action game, but avoid the multiplayer modes.

I agree with the other review. It is one of the better games. However, I think that even though the multiplayer is kinda easy, it's cooler than a gameboy or something else that doesn't have the Bluetooth technology that lets you play with someone else.
