Product Description

A high calorie supplement for added energy in dogs and cats. Irresistible taste, veterinarian strength. Compare to Nutri-Cal. Directions: When the animal's calorie or nutritional intake is to be supplemented, give 1 1/2 teaspoons per 10 pounds body weight daily. When used as the main source of nutrition give 3 teaspoons per 10 pounds body weight daily. Also a source of Linoleic, Linolenic, Eicosapentanoic Acid, Docosahexanoic Acid and Omega-6 & Omega-3 Fatty Acids.

This is an excellent product for any and all small breeds. A must have definitely for Yorkies, Maltese, etc. I won't be caught without it. I very seldom have a problem with hypoglycemia with my Yorkies. But, one time to need it is all it takes. Just about a 1/2 inch ribbon on your finger is all it takes to make a big difference. I have even used it on my Boxer whenever it was feeling under the weather. You don't have to make them take it........they want to take it!! Which makes it so much easier. If you have a female whelping, it's also good to give to her during the delivery process to keep her energy level up. They normally won't eat anything during this time. But, they always will take this and look at you like, "Can I have some more?" Definite must have product.

Our new 8-week old pup joined our family in time for Christmas. After reading several dog breeders' suggestions about having Nutri-Stat (or Nutri-Cal) on hand to use when a pup is stressed out, needs an energy boost to replenish its little system with sugar, or having digestive problems I decided to follow their advice. For the first few days after our tiny Lhasa's arrival I let her lick a thin strand from my finger once or twice a day and she loves it. It can be a sticky mess on their face and coat! I found that if I place a dab on the roof of her mouth, it works just as well as letting her lick it off my finger.
