This seems to be a re-release of the book "The Time it Took Tom". This book is beautifully illustrated with lots of humor. It's always a hit when I read it to a class of kids, it causes lots of giggles and without noticing it, we cover the topic of time duration (seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, years). Girls love it as much as boys, kids from one-parent families appreciate the depiction of a Mum living alone with her son. I'd particularly recommend this book for 6 - 8-year-old boys, it makes a great gift.
