I have been buying a series of pink tools for myself and my friend who is a (female) electrician. It is very difficult to find pink tools that are real tools that you could use on the construction site. There are a great line of pink tools that you can use around the house, but NOT good enough for real work. However, his hammer takes the cake. It may not be as heavy as I would like it to be (16oz would be nice), but it is almost as good as a Stanley anti-vibe hammer. It has a nice comfortable rubber grip just like it. This is the only pink tool in the pink tool line that I have which can be considered a serious tool. I can't say much for the rest. I realize that the construction industry is predominantly men, but there are women in construction also and it would be nice to see some REAL tools for women in colors they like. The pink tool belt by "Girly Lock" and pink helmets seem to be good products also. But getting back to the point this is a great hammer and a great addition to a lady's tool kit. And I'm sure you read about the Breast Cancer research deal which I think is great!

I have purchased pink tools from three other companies. I'm not going to mention their names. The cheaper pink tools are ok for small jobs, but they are not very durable. They're half the price, and make a cute ladies gift, but if you want real tools that will last, this is the company you want to get with. Tomboy tools sells more than just hammers. Check out their website for more pink DURABLE tools. I've learned the lesson of not just buying tools because they're pink and cute. If they don't last, what's the point? You'll just be back to hunting for you husbands dirty tools. Tomboy tools has a great selection of tools. This hammer feels like a stanley fatmax antivibe hammer. That's the type of quality you're getting. It's the greatest pink hammer out there! It also has a magnetic nail holder in the head of the hammer, that way you can aim and swing the hammer at the wood and the nail will go in without you holding it in place and wacking your fingers. Just like the fatmax antivibe! What a bonus! Their tools are not just pink and cute, they are durable, ergonomic (comfortable in your hands) and conveniently built. When I use my tomboy tools, I swear this company thought of everything that a tool needs to satisfy the needs of the female costumer. Don't mean to sound like a spokesperson, but I love all my tomboy tools, including this hammer! Take it from me who's been there, don't waste your money buying another PINK useless tool if you can buy tomboy tools. If I haven't mentioned, these tools are not just for around the house, these tools are also for women in construction. I bought these tools for my friend who is a female electrician and she uses these tools every day. Happy shopping!

I love this hammer!

About two years ago, my husband and I spent 6 months flipping a house. We worked 12 hours a day for 6 months and I used this hammer every day. Mine is dirty and scuffed and knicked, but still in great shape. Usually pink tools are very poor quality, as if a woman doesn't use them for real work.

My husband uses a 20 oz hammer, but it's too heavy for me. The 13 oz hammer is just right. It's balanced well and has a great grip. Plus, once I got the hand of it, I love the magnetic nail starter.

I very highly recommend this hammer! You won't regret it!

I recommend this hammer to everyone! It is easy to use and lightweight. The grip is smaller than the standard at the hardware store. The product was shipped quickly too. Don't just buy pink tools or you will be disappointed. Buy quality pink tools, buy Tomboy Tools only!

Finally, some "Pink" hand tools that are REAL tools. I have wanted to get my wife some hand tools for projects around the house and be able to tell our tools apart, but all the previous tools I have found are more like a child's toy, not real tools. This hammer is the real deal and definitely I am able to tell her's apart from mine. Glad to find some real "pink tools."

Nice little hammer, the head has a magnet to hold a nail while it's being started. Great for smaller hands! Good information about self breast exam came with it.

Building tool box for grand daughter. Great weight. Pink keeps it out of Dad's toolbox or gets it back to hers at some point.

Watch out for this baby! It hammered a hole into my yonanas box before I ever got it. One pink powerhouse (luckily the yonanas appear fine). It has a great weight- not too light or heavy but perfect for that swing to nail the wood together (in my case so far it was used on an old crib where the slats were coming out) the paint may need a touch-up but my baby is safer than ever before! on the top is a magnetized rectangle where you slide your nail in so that your thumb doesn't get banged by the hammer. They just have to come out with a blue version- my hubbie loves it- but doesn't want to been seen with a pink hammer.

The coolest thing about this hammer ( beside the Komen donation) is that there is a notch and magnet in the head so it holds the nail - you don't have to. It is a good weight, well balanced and so cute in the pink. The men in your house are much less likely to run off with it - and if they do - it is easy to see the pink in the"family toolbox"
