UNfortunately I didn't try to use until today (going on trip tomorrow) it doesn't fit the tomtom xxl , and it is a straight in usb NOT A RIGHT ANGLE CONNECTER - as it is, it's worthless

Just as expected, the wall charger fit my Go 730 and charged it within a reasonable time. I prefer a wall charger, since my computer is not on all the time. Also, I keep it on the kitchen counter while charging, so I can see it and stop it when finished. Nice product, and a whole lot cheaper than buying the TomTom brand. It arrived in a reasonable amount of time and packaging was good.
