I bought the TT GO 720 last week and it replaced my Garmin StreetPilot C340 that I gave to my partner. This device is very cool with lots of options. I'm very "tech" savvy so I like the fact that it allows for some
modification/personalization. Saying that it's not ideal for the average user. Garmin is much easier to use right out of the box without having to read any instructions at all. Some of the positives are the bluetooth capability which allows me to connect my Blackberry Pearl 8100 for hands-free calling. Unfortunately my phone is not compatible with the "GO-PLUS" features, for that I must have the device connected to my PC. The map layout is easy to see and the audio is very clear with the "text-to-speech" function. I also LOVE the fact that I can buy a cable for my
iPod and control it using the GO 720....that's great since I will no longer have to look down to change a song anymore. My biggest complaint by far is the lack of "Points of Interest" loaded. I think my Garmin came with over 6 Million POI's and the TT GO 720 has something in the 500,000 range. HUGE DISPARITY!! Without updating and loading dozens of separate POI files this thing couldn't even find local stores, gas

Love the bluetooth option. The size of the screen is great. Lots of options haven't been able to try them all yet, but so far it's great.

I hinted around last xmass that I wanted oa TomTom after reading a consuner report on portable GPS systems. I was hopping to receive a TomTom One because of the review. My wife looked a little closer at purchasing it for me and after her research purchased toe GO 720. I was suprised and very happy. To make a long story short I took it it on a pleasure trip to California that same week, I found it extremealy easy to use and never missed a turn on my vacation. I have used it frequently even around where I live, I do not have to ask for directions to get to a new place I have never been. When I up grade to a newer modle in the future it will be a TomTom. It's great for audio books also, very useful on long or short trips.

I have owned a GPS from Magellan and Garmin. My TomTom is the tops. I have had all to often a person tell me that they are not on GPS'r or MapQwest only to enter the address into TomTom and viola, there they are and here i come. People are always impressed and want to know what GPS i own, so they can buy one.

With my trusty TomTom in my car I have a completely different attitude to driving ... now I take side roads or detours with confidence. I enjoy visiting a new city and driving off in a rental with my Go 720, knowing that I don't need to take the time to study a map beforehand. I like knowing my ETA - oh, and I've grown accustomed to its voice!

I bought this for the wife and she is happy, How ever I did buy it used and the seller never told me the screen jumps around to different screens, So after a little research on the web I found out dirt gets behind the gray plastic bezel and if I take a credit card or license and scrap under the gray bezel all around, It will fix the problem and it did, so it works fine now!!

This is a good product for the price, I think, though I haven't really used it yet. I've only programmed it. This was pretty easy. I hope using it will be just as easy.

When I updated my TomTom, it also had a new feature that does away with speeding tickets! How you ask? Well, those three dings just happens to warn you that you are exceeding the posted speed limit! Sometimes my high heels turn into leaded feet so this enhancement has saved me enough money to keep me in Manolo Blatnik's...

What a blessing as a means of finding my way around my local area, my state, and this entire 48 lower states plus Alaska. Going through Alaska way a breeze using my awesome TomTom. Everyone MUST try a TomTom. You will be hooked. I go to the speciality section to locate banks, restaurants, parks. etc. Thank you TomTom.
