I try not to be overly negative in any product review, but this is gonna be an exception. The stock TomTom mount is, in my opinion, JUNK!

I tried hard to like this, but it was impossible!

It's overly fussy to attach and the suction cup just doesn't have enough holding power. My XXL unit fell four or five times from my windshield until I finally purchased another third party mount.

My advice is simple. Don't buy this! There are better mounts for less money. See my other reviews.

since I have the original mount/cord permanently mounted on the dash of one car, i needed one extra mount and power cord for traveling and to use it in rental vehicles. I have TomTom XXL 550TM so XXL series will also fit.

I lost my original or left it in a rental car. This is a genuine replacement in TomTom packaging. This replacement includes another car charger / power supply.

Note to people who complain about the TomTom suction cup mount not sticking to the windshield: There is a lock and unlock position on the mount. I've never had the mount fall off the glass if it was turned to lock position.

This is the factory mount shipped with the TomTom. It is easy to use and the swivel base makes adjusting the Tom a snap. The Tom Tom is easily inserted and removed from the base. Finally, the Tom Tom and base unit can be folded into a compact arrangement which makes carrying both units a snap.

Item is mislabeled. I have the TomTom One 130 model and this mount works fine (the part number matches TomTom's part number for the 130 mount).

While the picture doesn't make this obvious (it's pointed out in the short description), this is a kit that also includes an additional car charging cable (plugs into the lighter/power outlet in your car).

I bought 2 of those, one for my private car and one for my work van.
The 1st one (in my car) got a crack in vacum are in lass than 48 hours, so it wasn't able to hold the navigation any more since there's no vacum any more. The 2nd one (in my van) lass for about 4-5 days and then the same exact problem.
I got a different now, also from Amazon - works perfect. ([...])

This item is either very poorly made or the one I received is defective. It was very difficult to turn, and since I still have the original from tomtom, I know how it should work. When I went to put it on the windshield the rubber part became separated from the plastic of the item. It was not snapped, it just came off and could not be reattached. I am very, very unhappy with this item and I have been highly inconvenienced by my whole experience with this item. I would give it 0 stars if possible, I have contacted the seller and will see if they refund me or compensate me in some way. I would never again buy any of their other items if they do not.

The seller was nice enough to refund full amount including shipping but, it was a cheap piece of junk. Not tomtom brand. It would not lock on to the windshield so I sent it back.

This is a good product that comes with an additional cigarette charger lighter. Still a little difficult to remove the GPS from the holder if you do it daily, but very useful.

This is just a poorly manufactured product. I Believe that this design in general is simply flawed and no matter what these gps mounts seem destined just not to hold up. I Really hate this because i love my tom tom Gps but have to say the mounting system is inferior to other brands.
