Before buying this product I was concerned my original clip was different than this one so I thought it would not work. It worked perfectly, and it seems much better than my old one. If I had this one at the first time it would not have broken. That's probably why Tomtom changed the model.
I'm very happy with this product.

I have had my Tom Tom Go 730 for about a year. The mount that comes with it is a cheapo that requires moisture to stay stuck to the windshield, and that cannot be folded up to fit into a travel case, both major irritants for me. The Easy Port mount solves both isues. The rubber suction base seems softer than the orignal base, making it more likely to stay adhered to the windshield, and the turn-of-the-wheel suction device is far more elegant and works far better than the original's mash-as-hard-as-you-can-against-the-windshield approach. Also, the positioning joint has a lot more range of motion than the original, so where you end up placing it on the windshield is not as important. Having an extra power cord is nice as well, I no longer have to dismantle my truck set-up to pack it up for business trips. I will be buying another one for my wife's car...

I bought this to replace the mount that came with the GO 922. That mount would fall off in cold weather and their sticky pads would "unstick" in hot. This one works perfectly in all temps. Easy to mount and dismount with no loss off suction by use. When you put it on it almost feels like it's glued to the glass and then to add on top of it it also has an extra locking mechanism that you turn for extra grip.

My only complaint is that the GPS doesn't "lock" into to it very well. Well, it does if you get it right, but sometimes you think it's in right and then it pops off the mount while you're driving. Just make sure it's secure in the mount and you're fine (unless you constantly have to fine-tune the angle in which case it can still come unlocked).

Note: I've used this mount on the GO 922 and after it was stolen I used it on the replacement I bought, the XPS 5... something (I can't really remember the name of it now, but it's the new one with the extra large screen).

I wanted to get this to replace the windsheild mount that came with my tomtom 630 and as normal amazon had it cheaper than getting it from tomtom direct, Thank you amazon.

I have the Tom Tom Go 720 and was leery about purchasing this item. The suction mount that comes with the product is horrible, it does not stick to the windsheild. I find myself having to hold the TomTom while driving in order to find where I am going. I almost purchased the new TomTom 2535 due to the great new mount that is come with until I came across this for 29.95! Boy am I glad I did not jump to buy the new TomTom. This mount is absolutely perfect! if you are contemplating purchasing this item, well I will make the decision for you....Buy it! haha You will be glad you did, I sure was.

This mount is much better than the original mount that came with my Go720. I've been through 2 of the original mounts and even tried a third party one. This one seems to be more durable and stable. I love it! So far, it hasn't detached from the windshield while I was driving.

We had a terrible time adhering our TomTom to the windshield. It continually fell off; and putting it back on was resulting in a safety issue (talk about distracted drivers). This devise solved the problem. Our TomTom stays put and is easy to mount. We recommend it highly!

Thank goodness I lost the original window mount for my 930 or I never would have found this. Unlike the original mount, this one folds neatly and makes packing the Tom Tom accessories for the old trans continental plane ride that much easier. The device features one of those suction cups with a knob and screw to pull the center of the cup back and increase the suction. This functionality also makes removing the mount significantly easier than the original. So far it has worked flawlessly for me, but like any of these devices, a clean suction cup and a flat, clean window surface provides the best results.

I really liked the look of this unit online. I got it, and things looked clean in my car - the only problem is, when the interior of my car heats up, the lock on the unit tends to become less stiff and it becomes loose - occasionally. Not always, not with any particular reason...... but sometimes it just becomes loose.

The upside is that it's very easy to use and holds the TomTom better then the one that came with my GPS.

After one week the ball and socket became loose,and after one week it was lying on the floor...fell off windsheild!!!!!!The original was more sturdy but it stayed on just as long if not longer
