This product does not contain a car kit mentioned in the product description. Without this car kit GPS is useless - you cannot plug it into your PDA. Car kit sells for extra $50.

Disregard the product description where it says the car kit is included. It isn't. The kits will cost you 60.00 additional (not sold at amazon). You can't even plug in the GPS without the car kit, so its useless without it.

If you think you can buy an aftermarket PDA holder, guess again, since the kit TomTom car kit is the only thing that will make this whole thing work.

When you wanna buy a product, you need to do some research before you hit the buy button. I got mine a month ago. I used it with my Dell Axim X5 and I bought my car kit at some other website. It fit perfectly with my Axim X5. I used it to go from Boston to Toronto. This gps navigation system is amazingly accurate. Even a small little pond right next to the road in canada, its shown on my ppc screen. Its so easy to use, handle like a dream, very user friendly. Their point of interest in the software are very up to date, I can find a lot of restaurants around my home town. I work as a concierge in a hotel, I've been using this software just to find the local restaurants for my hotel guests. Its really exceed what I expected. Once the tom tom navigator 5 out, users of the 2004 can upgrade it. Really can't wait for the next version to hit the market. I bought the software and the car kit under $200, what an amazing deal.

Whoever looking for some serious navigation gps system, check this one out, the 2004 cover the USA and Canada. Users can even buy the European maps if they planning to go to Europe.

If you want to use it with a Dell PDA don't buy it! The PDA will freeze every hour. If you want to use it with other PDA, don't buy it.

It is impossible to upgrade this excuse of a software. I've been calling around for a week now, to upgrade from navigator 5 Scandinavia to Europe, with no luck.

Tomtom support is the WORST I've even seen. They treat customers like s...! If you want a heart attack, just call their support line, they will take care of it.

They should spend money on customer care not voice of John Cleese.

I will never buy a tomtom product again in my life!

The product description states that the required car kit comes with the GPS. IT DOES NOT!!! The GPS is not usable without the car kit (another $50.00!!).

The real joy comes when you try and contact Amazon. It was impossible to canel the order. There are also NO Phone numbers listed to talk to a human. This is the last time I purcahse from Amazon.
