For all those looking at long term collecting and to see what's out there. We bought this book after a recent trip to Disney. We did some trading and will be looking to do more next time we go. This book lets us know which pins are worth trading and which are keepers. Great full color pics. My kids just love looking at the pics.

This is a great book, I wish it was up to date but it's not. My daughters can't find any of their pins because most of them are from 2006 and above.

Dinsey pin collecters and traders will enjoy seeing all the pictures in this book. It is the best source for info on the pins but being the only source, they don't have to be that good to be successful.
Criticisms include the fact that they don't list ALL the pins- you have to buy more stuff to get info on the overseas them park pins, Disney store pins, online pins, and others. Finding a pin can be very difficult also as their index is unclear on many items. You have to know where the pin was released to find it in the book and many of us won't guess right on that question. Some of us would like the pictures in the book to be a little bit bigger, too. A final criticism is the price of the book for the numbers of pages- it's expensive.
For someone who collects, the book is indispensable but it is a very imperfect work.

Being new to pin trading, this book provided value information as well as many pictures to identify the pins. Good reference for pin traders!

I love disney I got this just to look at all the pins out there. Mote of a coffe table book than anything else. For only hardcore disney fans

Good book, lots of useful information. I have 2/3rds more pins than are listed in the book though, that was disappointing. I really thought this would be an all encompassing guide to what was out there. For the cost, I wish I had been able to borrow it from someone instead.

This is a great book with many many pins. The only down side is that it does not tell you which pins are in a set. Some of the ones we have were in different places in the book. Over all it was cool to be able to find our pins and see what they were worth.

This book has alot of pins but the organization makes it hard to find a specific pin. It would be better if it had an index by character.

For the people who complained about the lack of index... how could anyone possibly index that many pins. The index would be as long as the book is. The table of contents is perfectly adequate for narrowing down the page. After that the hunt for the pin is half the fun.
