2.0 out of 5 stars Not so good. November 4, 2012

I went for low price instead of good quality, and that's what I got. The game does not show any animations at the beginning of the game (I'm talking about a mini-trailer at the very beginning, not the animations in the game). It also will not work after level 4 - Kazakhstan - it would just shut down, as soon as I land on the ground. I wouldn't recommend buying this game for such a low price. If you really want to enjoy this game, just pay a little bit more and get a game of good quality. Plus, it came on a CD, that is not original, it seemed like it was just a very good copy of the original, but one can still tell the difference.

1.0 out of 5 stars Boring, shallow and trite March 2, 2013

By the time I decided to buy this game, it was already a bit behind in technology, so commenting on its graphics wouldn't make a lot of sense. I'll concentrate on gameplay issues.

First, this is my first foray into the franchise, so I don't know how it compares to other titles, but boy, does it feel like the wrong way to start! Unoriginal gameplay (no-brainer shooters and puzzles that are more work than challenge), awkward control schemes, uninteresting level design (too slow-paced), and the worst part -- a main character that is both unemotional and one-dimensional, a mash-up of Quatermain and Indiana Jones and then made into a woman whose appearance was created to give female players a strong role model while having hormonal teenagers slobber over her caricaturesque polygonal frame.

Maybe the franchise will improve now that Ubisoft is rebooting it, but for now, don't waste your money here.Fail. Fail.
