It has everything you need to know about ALL the Tomb Raider games (except Tomb Raider 6 Angel of Darkness). It has tips on how and where the secrets are, Her moves, her enemies and how to beat the level. Also the have Tomb Raider models and an interview with Angelina...

3.0 out of 5 stars It's Just OK
I wasn't very impressed with this book. It contained much less than I was expecting. With a general overview of each level, I found it much less impressive than the individual guidebooks I was accustomed to using for each game. Indeed it listed all secrets, including the 4 you need in TR III's Coastal Village to unlock the bonus level. It also offered numerous control...

5.0 out of 5 stars The Most Useful Tomb Raider Guide Ever!, December 11, 2001

This review is from: Tomb Raider: The Book: Prima's Official Strategy Guide (Paperback)
I have 3 tomb raider strategy guides from which this turned out to be the one that had everything + much more than the other two guides had. Great hints&tips, cheat codes, walkthrough, and guides on how to fight the hardest enemies, get past difficult obstacles, & where to find great secrets and how to use the most powerful weapons. Lara Croft can do anything in Tomb Raider now with the help of this great guide. The best part is that it helps you with all Tomb Raider Games not just one!

5.0 out of 5 stars Don't Play w/o Prima, August 10, 2001
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Tomb Raider: The Book: Prima's Official Strategy Guide (Paperback)
Nowadays it's almost mandatory to purchase a Prima strategy guide whenever you purchase a game. My family has been very happy with the Prima guides, and this one is no exception.

It also offered numerous control and combat tips, but these were copied straight from the other Prima guidebooks and forgot to specify, for instance, that Lara cannot sprint before TR III or roll underwater before TR II. The real-life Lara models overview and the interview with Angelina Jolie contained nothing new and were certainly not worth buying this book over. I bought this book because I thought, based on a review, that it would contain cheats, but it contained tips, not cheats. If you want to know the location of all secrets and an extremely general walkthrough, buy this book. If you want a highly detailed walkthrough, you are better off with the individual Prima guidebooks, which are great.
