This review is from: Tomb Raider Tankobon Volume 2 (v. 2) (Paperback)
In this volume writer Dan Jurgens and artists Billy Tan and Andy Park (along with Francis Manapul and Geraldo Sandoval) throw out some more fun adventures featuring everyone's favorite tomb raider.

Lara takes on the People's Liberation Army and Yetis to discover Shangri-La, she fights undead conquistadors, tentacle monsters and travels through time. These stories are fun rides, nothing profound but fun. They do have a problem with being a bit too formula and Lara's lack of a supporting cast (who don't die or betray her during the story) hurts them.

The art by Tan and Park is fantastic, Lara is lovingly rendered and always gorgeous. Manapul and Sandoval aren't as strong but aren't bad.

The black and white production can be a bit muddy at times but is usually OK.

So if you'd like something fun and fluffy this is a good buy.
