It doesn't work! November 18, 2008
Length: 0:20 Mins
A mouse was living in my patio planter. Bought 6 of these traps. Bait was taken from all of them, I decided to camp out with a camcorder to see what was going on, I was stunned. What does it take to set one of these off? Needless to say I threw all of these traps away. At least they were cheap!

DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM! July 20, 2010
Length: 2:22 Mins
These traps are NOT EFFECTIVE and DO NOT KILL MICE. I had two baited with peanut butter and every morning for a week discovered the bait GONE. Then I set up a camera and recorded Mr. Mouse in action as you'll see in the video. The next night I took a piece of cheese and GLUED it way in the back of the trap. This caught the mouse, yes, but only by the tail. He was unhurt and spent the rest of the night chewing this plastic trap into shreds. The next morning he was still caught but plenty alive and I had to pick up the wrecked trap with the live mouse in it, take him outside, and open the thing with my foot so he could run away. NOT RECOMMENDED. Go for the cheaper (and much more effective) standard wood/wire traps.

I have been using this product for about a week; have not caught a single mouse.

I have tried everything just to get this trap to work. I even got suckered into buying that mouse attractant gel this company sells. They eat it; but it doesn't set off the trap. I've tried peanut butter, cheese, bread, whatever; the mice eat it and the trap stays set. I've pushed this stuff as far back into this trap as possible and the mice still don't set it off.

Do yourself a favor; save some money and go with the classic Victor trap.

NOT effective
Tried the two that came in the package and they did not work at all. I bought the Dicon one, which actually caught a mouse. Don't waste your money on this one!

the mouse got away!
I got some of these at my local grocery store. A couple of days later, a mouse tripped one, and it got away! It left some mouse hairs in the trap, but survived.
