Product Description

Wonderful Leak proof, bite free sipping from our favorite baby company, Tommee Tippee. These aren't your average sippee cups. As the back of the package reads, "Unlike any other valve, our integrated drip-proof valve has been designed by a physicist to be super soft and so sensitive, yet truly leak proof."

Like another reviewer, I'm not sure where the first review came from, these do not have straws. It's a great product, it doesn't require a lot of force to get the liquid out, it's free flowing. It's teaching my son how to drink from a cup, which is a great transition. The only reason I give this 4 stars instead of 5 is because it is easy to spill the liquid - it doesn't even drip if you tip it upside down but my son has figured out how to compress the drinking spout so he can spill the contents out. If I'm giving him anything other than water he is in his high chair where I can easily clean up these spills. It is leak-proof on it's own, but smart little hands can figure out how to get the liquid out. I also love that it comes with a cover for the top so we can easily put it in the diaper bag.

I'm not sure why the previous reviewer talked about straws, because this one has a soft silicone spout. We have a cupboard full of sippys and this one seems to work the best for our 12 month old. I have to admit there is some leakage, but he doesn't have to work super hard to get the liquid out of it, and since our dcotor recommended that we take the valves out of our spill proof sippers I have decided to live with minor spills.

They are perfect for my son, who refuse to drink out of Nuk silicone sprout (it worked well for his older sister). I hated all the sippy cups that are not microwave safe, I had to heat milk up in other containers and pour it in. What a pain! My husband is also clueless and microwave them from time to time, it stress me out. Bottom line, these are awesome for being microwave safe and super easy to drink out of.

It's extremely difficult to get the silicone straw threaded through the lid of the cup, and takes a long time. At first, that was the only problem and toddler seemed to like the cup. But after about 2 weeks of use, the bottom straw keeps separating from the top straw and the baby can't get any water to come out once that happens--even if you tilt the cup so the water reaches the bottom of the top straw, it doesn't work--I guess the botton straw makes the valve work. Then I thought it was because he shook the cup and made the bottom one come loose, but now I've had it happen several times where without any jarring, the straw separates and then no water can be sucked out at all. It seems to be just the pressure of drinking the first sips that separates the straw. It's a terrible cup! It was a 2-pack and both are the same so I don't think mine is defective. It only worked for 2 weeks.
