I just got this album and I must say it is quite enjoyable.Tommy february6 is actually the vocalist from 'The Brilliant Green' out doing her own thing. And how wonderful that she's decided to do that. This album is full of the most delightfully cheesy '80's synth-pop. There are some great pop hooks happening here. I'd recommend this album to anyone who likes Jpop, The Brilliant Green, 80's synth pop, or anyone who has a sense of musical humour. 'Je t'aime Je T'aime' is such a great track! I can't get enough of it! >.< Track 4 is 'Futari no Seaside'

Before i even begin, i just wanna say i gave it a 5 star because i enjoy this alot, some might have different taste, so you should always preview it before purchase. I randomly look for JPop/JRock music and i first heard the single of Tommy "Magic In Your Eyes" and liked it alot. Her songs are really smooth and the background music really puts you in the groove. This is something good to listen to while you're working on some artwork...really puts you in the mood and gets you going. At the same time you can enjoy this if you are layed back and want to relax. If you aren't sure about the purchase i suggest you sample a few songs over the net because imports are not cheap.I also recommend the cd Ayumi Hamasaki - I Am, as well as the entire collection of L'Arc En Ciel (which is probably not a surprise to many people).

My first taste of Tommy February6 was after numerous recommendations on Crunchyroll.com (a great place for asian media, check it out) whenever I finished watching a video. She seemed cute and different and I loved the glasses so I gave her a shot. The song and video were from her first album and I regret not clicking on that video sooner. After listening to more singles from the album, I knew I definetely had to have it. But it was a lot harder to find than I thought even more so to find it for a deal. So having only heard 'Magic In Your Eyes' , I took the plunge and brought Tommy Airline (her second album) instead and found that I wasn't disappointed.
Tommy's voice is a dream and woven with the synth-pop sound and dance worthy beats, listening to her work is like an outer body experience. Sure the sound is considered cheesy and her english lyrics (and even her japanese lyrics for that matter) don't make a lot of sense and are even quite silly at times, but it's those things that make it easier and more fun to get into the smooth melodies and funky beats. Here's to point out a few note-worthy tracks that execute this well. 'J'etaime j'etaime' is one of the singles off the album with a soft melody that sticks to your head and a catchy chorus line. 'CAndy EyEs doLLs' is a very fun song, though the chorus sounds like it's been done before you'll still find yourself singing along to some parts. 'ChOOSe mE Or Die' isn't long or exactly special, but I love the cute little line she does: " If you don't say you love me, I'll kill you! Tell me your answer, choose me or die!" Very kawaii!!! 'daNCin' bABY' is undoubtably the funkiest song with a hard-driving beat and a catchy chorus that you can't help but start moving to. 'SwEEt dREAM' is my absolute most favorite song off the album. The melody is so crisp and smooth, the song flows just like a sweet dream. The chorus is just lovely and Tommy's vocals are really pretty in this one. 'The RoSe franGanCe' though it isn't my absolute fave, comes in at a close second, and is probably the best track up here. Everything about the song is pratically flawless, a sweet melody, a nice beat, and a addictive chorus which represents Tommy February's sound to a tee. I'm very surprised (more like disappointed) it wasn't released as a single or had a video to it. It's kind of a waste, honestly. To put it simply, overall, this album rocks and considering it was my first imported CD, was a satisfying purchase. I definetely would recommend it to anyone who's looking for something of a different speed to listen to.

Another great Tommy CD, although even though I like this CD, it still isn't my top favorite of her CD's ever made, there are still a couple songs I really like on this CD, like "DaNcin' baBy" and "The Rose Fragrance".
So all in all I still like it and rate it a 4, it just isn't my favorite CD of hers.
