Great Shape Case,

A couple of things are not obvious from the picture. Most importantly, the case has beautiful curves, both horizontal and vertical, and wraps around my wrist better than any other watch I have seen before. The ad photo also makes the watch face seem not only vintage looking but actually aged; it is vintage but the numerals and the face is flawless and obviously brand new. Lastly the strap is lighter in person than it looks in the picture. The only negative I have is only a "maybe" negative - the strap looks like it will wear out quickly from frequently taking it on and off but I have not experienced any wear as of yet. Overall, a great, inexpensive watch for cruises and island visits.

It's been a while since I got this watch but I still can't get over how much i like it. I'm very particular about what I look for when I get the itch to buy something. I was looking for something that had a classic design, but not so formal that it would look weird wearing it causally. I also chose this watch specifically for its simple elegance. Too many of today's men's watches have faceplates so chock full of junk and gizmo that it distracts from its original function. This watch speaks volumes through the details put into all the parts. It may not seem like much from looking at the picture but I found myself extremely pleased by the weave pattern wristband, the numeral font, the plump dial arms, and the palm tree in the background almost like holograms or watermarks. And like others have said in the reviews, the wristband is a lighter color than the one pictured. Walnut tan like you would find on an Allen Edmonds shoe is a closer match to the actual color. Lastly, I also like how the curvature of the case wraps around my wrist.

The silver watch case sets this watch apart from other similar watches. The leather band is a lighter color of brown than what appears in the add. This was a bargain price for a T Bahama watch.
