"Brothers don't shake hands, brothers gotta hug"., February 8, 2004
This review is from: Tommy Boy (The Movie): Music From The Paramount Motion Picture (Audio CD)
This is a pretty good soundtrack, with a number of decent alt-rock songs. It starts off with a good "Kiss" cover, and also includes tracks from "Paul Westerberg", "Goo Goo Dolls", "Primal Scream", and "Smoking Popes". Plus the 80's song "Come On Eileen", and the "REM" favorite "It's The End Of The World As We Know It (and I feel fine)". Of course who can forget when they sang "Superstar" (don't you remember you told me you loved me baby). But the main reason to get this is for the 8 film snippets from Farley and Spade. They're hysterical, and bring you right back to the movie. My advice for fans is to get this cd, "Don't run away from your feelings".

Absolutely the most hilarious movie and soundtrack ever made, June 25, 1999

This review is from: Tommy Boy (The Movie): Music From The Paramount Motion Picture (Audio CD)
The movie, Tommy Boy is a hysterical movie. The songs on this soundtrack are what make the movie even more enjoyable. I love this CD because of it's loud, party music that you love and can sing along to. Now you can listen to Chris Farley and David Spade 24 hours a day!!!

It's Worth It Just For the Sound Clips, August 10, 2011
This review is from: Tommy Boy (The Movie): Music From The Paramount Motion Picture (Audio CD)
The TOMMY BOY SOUNDTRACK consists of mostly alt-rock tunes and sound clips from the movie. There's also "Superstar" by The Carpenters and that Spanish song, "Eres Tu". Personally, I think the soundtrack is worth owning just for the movie sound clips. I love the movie and I bought the soundtrack solely because of all the sound clips included: 8 of the 20 tracks are sound clips from the movie, including "Lalaluukee", "Fat Guy in a Little Coat", "Housekeeping", and "My Pretty Little Pet". Besides the sound clips and "Superstar" the only other song I really like from the album is "It's the End of the World As We Know It (And I Feel Fine)" by R.E.M. I think this album will be enjoyed by anyone who likes the movie TOMMY BOY and anyone who likes alt-rock music and if you happen to be a person who really is into both of those things, then you'll probably love this soundtrack.
