The quality of this comforter is exceptional. I bought it for my son who is moving to Chicago. Should do a great job of keeping him warm during the cold winter months. The little Hilfilger details make this comforter stylish as well as extremely well made. I would recommend buying this product.

I like the product however once I washed the comforter the colors ran. I tried contacting the merchant about this and have yet to hear back. Aside from that (which is a major issue) the quality is good.

I agree with all of the other reviews - this is a high quality comforter that exceeded all of my expectations. Unlike some cheap comforters, that are scratchy and require the use of sheets, this one is so soft that it can literally be used as a blanket by itself if need be. The top is bright red, dark navy, and white stripes, while the underside is sort of a pinstripe alternating blue denim / white pattern.

Had comparison shopped for this comforter, and found that Amazon had the best price. The comforter is well made, true to the photo in the ad.

Ordered this based on other reviews, and it was as great as it was rated. Excellent quality, warmth, and very attractive. I would highly reccomend this if you need a good quality comforter at a excellent price.Bed in a bag comforters cannot touch this one for quality,and if you don't need pillow shams, etc. this is the way to go.Very ,very pleased with this purchase.

This comforter might look a little pricey to you, but it is worth every dollar you pay.

Tommy Hilfiger designed this one as a tribute to our nation's colors. Very high quality product, beautifully made, bright and firm colors. Nothing to complaint about this comforter whatsoever.

We bought two twin size Donegal Red for our boys. They like them a lot, specially the bright colors (red and blue) and that it feels soft to touch (and to play on top of it!).

It is easy to wash and so far the colors haven't fade a bit.

I definitely recommend this product.

First, this comforter is gorgeous right out of the package. I was so excited. I ordered 4 different Hilfiger sets for Christmas. All of them are nicely made and the colors are perfect.

This particular comforter was very stiff with fabric sizing or something. I had to wash it prior to using it. Now, I hate washing all things red, but, I've pretty much mastered it since two of my four boys LOVE red! I checked the washing instructions on the tag - cold water only with like colors. The comforter I purchased was a twin size, but it's as heavy as my king size one! So, there was no room for "like" colors or anything else. I also need to mention that I have an extra-large capacity LG front-loading washing machine (I bought it specifically for times like these - hehe).

Alas, when I pulled the comforter from the wash the beautiful red had ran onto the white and made a lovely shade of pink. (Not really the color theme I was going for). With a couple more washes I did get some of the red to leave the white - even tried one of those "color snatcher" things for the washer.

Bottom line ... absolutely stunning comforter before you wash it.

If you know how to creatively place toss pillows ... perfectly acceptable, if somewhat faded comforter after you wash it.

I bought this for my father as a Christmas present, and I've been considering keeping it myself! It's really nice. I was kinda hesitant to buy this because there was no thread count detail about it, but after reading the reviews, I figured if I didn't like it, I'd send it back. It resembles canvas more than cloth, and the color is rich. My only concern is washing, if it'll retain this color after several washes, and if the color will bleed. Normally, I've been unimpressed with TH home items, but this may just change my mind. Great deal.

This comforter set is definitely good quality. It feels sturdy and well made. However, the comforter top (the red part) is made of canvas. It feels just like a canvas sail and is very stiff and hard. It's not at all comfortable to sit on or lay on and is very hard to maneuver (like for bending back to put a child into it or trying to tuck it in along the wall). You can't snuggle up with it at all. I haven't washed it yet--I'm afraid to after seeing the reviews about the colors bleeding. But unless it softens up significantly when washed, I dislike it other than for its looks. And it is definitely way too heavy and sturdy for spring/summer. I will have to try to find a blanket to match this set that is lighter weight and more comfy to the touch.

This is an excellent comforter. If anything its too warm. Its thick but soft, the only downside is that the queen size is friggin huge, good luck fitting that into your washer.
