I'm not sure what the price of this coat is on your screen, but when I bought mine last week, it was [...].

For this amount of money, this is a beautifully made garment and I really love the coat. A couple things you may want to know is that it does indeed have a reversible zipper and the fit is true to size. You can check the size chart on the site. If you have broad shoulders, that area may be a touch snug, I assume that Hilfiger thinks that all women are petite and that we don't have shoulders. I would go a size up if you have broad shoulders. Because of the tight shoulder issue, this is not a coat for playing in the snow.....it's great for walking, etc., but not for any real exercise. If you need a down coat for playing in the snow, I recommend Land's End coats; they give you plenty of shoulder room. Down coats ideally, are worn close to your body so the warmth will not escape....I wear them with a turtleneck or tee-shirt. A big bulky sweater will probably be uncomfortable under this parka.

I bought this coat to replace an 11 year old down coat which is slowing falling apart. Although they say we are going through a *warming* period and the earth is heating up, I'll still need a warm coat to walk the dogs in the winter months.

This is a casual, good looking garment and I'll get a great deal of use out of it...Highly recommended.

I, must say, I am happy I made the decision to purchase this coat when I did (bought it in September) and not wait, because the price now differs. With that said, the coat fits well, it's very stylish, not too bulky, I like that it has so many pockets. I am 5'4" and it fits me right at my knees.

I have seen reviews elsewhere, and some persons seem to suggest that it's not true to size, well, for me, it is. I weigh 124 pounds and I bought a small and any other size wouldn't have fit well. I am able to wear it with a thick sweater and not feel uncomfortable.

I got this coat in black, and it's very warm - even warm enough for Chicago winters! And it's even cuter than I expected. Love it!

I been wanting to get a down jacket for ages. One is the pricing and another is the weather in Calif., so I put it off. When I saw this one on sale and all the great reviews (plus I also own other Tommy clothing), I jump on it right away. I am glad I did, the price went up. I got it today and tried it on, it was nice and very warm, the lengths of sleeves just right for me, but if you have long arms, you can pull it out, there are extra fabrics for it. I am very sensitive to the smell of down feathers, usually takes time to air them out, this one has very minimal smell, which I think is a plus. Other reviewers already detail on the quality and the design of it, so I will spare you that part. Overall, just a wonderful coat to have, excellent choice.

This coat exceeded my expectations! The color is exactly what I was looking for. It is stylist and comfortable and I am sure it will keep me warm here in the mid-west. This is a great coat at a great buy.

this coat is great. i am 5'9" tall and about 170lbs and the xl fits me great. i was worried it may be too big but it isnt. lots of pockets and the double zipper is great. the hood attaching is a plus too. all in all, after much search and reading reviews, this is a great coat for the money.

Haven't worn it yet, but it's a nice looking coat. Generous cut as I bought an XL and it's a litte too big, I'm a 14, the sleeve comes to the top of my fingers and I'm average height. Green is not as dark as the picture appears.

Just an FYI - I found this same exact coat much cheaper (30%) less at overstock - good luck!

I am kind of a coat freak. Some women are shoe people or purse people - I'm a coat/jacket person. I'm a size 12/14 and bought a Large. It fits beautifully. The other reviews stating that it's snug are correct but it's not a bad thing - the snugness helps hold in my body heat keeping me super warm anywhere that the coat covers. I live outside Chicago and this coat has kept me very warm all winter long. I love the high sitting belt. I have a large behind and when a belt that sits at the waist only serves to accentuate the largeness of my behind. The high placement of this belt is very flattering on me. I highly recommend this coat.

Whenever I buy anything I always check reviews here on Amazon. Even if it's not FROM Amazon.
The majority of good reviews are usually accurate. This coat is no exception.

I ordered two of these during the "Deal of the Day" for Christmas 2009. The price,... $70. One was for my 34 year old daughter, and one was for me. She got the brown, and I got the green.

Interestingly enough, even with her "funkier" taste, she likes it as much as I do! Exceptional quality, nice style for a "knock around warm coat", and fantastic price. Couldn't be happier with the purchase.
Both coats came fast. That's one of the reasons why I love Amazon!

My advice for the long belt: tie it.
