5.0 out of 5 stars Not My Favorite But Still Great
THIS BOOK IS AMAZING! It is similar to #9, Every New Day, and MUCH different from the other 8. It's not as sweet, sappy and unreal. Tomorrow's Promise is much more like reality. Amy's boyfriend, Ty, who is also a stable hand @ Heartland, seems to be preoccupied and distressed about something. He won't tell Amy what it is and because Amy knows how much she loves him and...

5.0 out of 5 stars Not My Favorite But Still Great, November 26, 2002
This review is from: Tomorrow's Promise (Heartland #10) (Paperback)
THIS BOOK IS AMAZING! It is similar to #9, Every New Day, and MUCH different from the other 8. It's not as sweet, sappy and unreal. Tomorrow's Promise is much more like reality. Amy's boyfriend, Ty, who is also a stable hand @ Heartland, seems to be preoccupied and distressed about something. He won't tell Amy what it is and because Amy knows how much she loves him and how important he is to everyone @ Heartland, she is concerned and distressed as well. Also, Amy's long lost father buys Lou and Amy a show horse named Storm! FACT: He is the mirror image of PEGASUS! BUT Younger. Ty and Grandpa know that they don't have the room, time, money, ect... for a competition horse like Storm. But Amy persuades Grandpa to let them keep him. But not everyone is convinced. Ty still doesn't think it's right to keep Storm because he knows that Amy can't do all of her chores, ride him, go to school, and help Lou learn 2 ride again! And he still seems preoccupied. So Amy doesn't want 2 upset him by talking about it and she's upset b/c she always used 2 b able 2 tell Ty everything. On top of that, at a show with Ben, a friend and stable hand @ Heartland too, Amy meets Daniel, a man, Ben's age, who has a talented jumper, a roan mare, but his horse well I'll just say it, looks like she was put together by a committee, aka she looks really bad. Daniel seems to hate the show scene and @ first Amy doesn't like him but as she gets to know him she realizes that all he has is the titles he wins and his horse. When his horse, Amber, gets grumpy and won't cooperate, Amy tries to convince Ty to drop of some herbs while they're picking up one of Nick Halliwell's horses that is coming to Heartland. Ty agrees but Amy can tell that he is still annoyed with her. In the end something drastic happens, that has a huge effect on everyone. Luckily, Amy and Ty still have their romantic moments. Don't we all love those?? lol. This a great book and worth ne body's time!

5.0 out of 5 stars Heartland 10, Tomorrow's Promise, December 8, 2002

I thoroughly enjoyed this book as well as the others so far in this series. These books are more realistic than most that I've read. I love how Lauren Brooke is able to portray her characters and describe their emotions so well. I can't tell you which book of the series is my favorite...too many to choose. I like this one a lot because Amy has so many things to do and is struggling to get everything (and more) done. Ty knows something has to give but doesn't want to tell her. I liked how most everything ended. I think several of the things that happened in this book are foreshadowing the next one. It will be interesting to see.

4.0 out of 5 stars good book, something for light bed time reading, December 6, 2002
This review is from: Tomorrow's Promise (Heartland #10) (Paperback)
Amy receives a horse called Summer Storm from her father as a present. Storm is a jumper horse and Amy wants to start taking him to shows. But Heartland isn't cut out to home a jumper and doesn't have the money to pay for all these shows. Ty doesn't think Amy will be able to take care of the horses @ Heartland AND go to school AND ride and show Storm AND help Lou how to ride. At a show, Amy meets Daniel, a boy who also does jumping also and has a horse called Amber. She wants to help Daniel achieve his dream which is to become a pupil of Brad Shaffer who runs a well known training jumping stable for Daniel is poor and doesn't have a lot of money. But something tragic happens to Amber and Amy has to help Daniel face his worst fear: that he may risk losing Amber. And also Amy has her own troubles to deal with: the one year anniversary of the death of her mom is coming up and she doesn't know what to do. Of course Ty and Amy have their romantic moments and Ty too seems to be troubled by something... Basically everyone has their own problems to deal with in this story. But whatever happened to Matt? Ever since he's been going out with Ashley, he's been disappearing. And what about daybreak and melody?!?!

5.0 out of 5 stars A Review By Me!!, May 1, 2006
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Tomorrow's Promise (Heartland #10) (Paperback)
I do not want to rate JUST this book. I am here to rate the whole Heartland series. Well, at least teh one i read! I already read 1-8, and I am on book # 9. They are my favorite books so far, I just can't put them down! Amy's life is at Heartland, and the horses there. Amy's days in her life are either good, or harsh. Can Amy keep herself together, or will she not make it? I thought that this book was 1, very descripted, 2, you can visualize almost everything, and 3, a book that you can never put down. They were the best books that I have ever read, and will always be!!! You should read this book series, and post a review to tell the world how wonderful it is!

4.0 out of 5 stars The Next Book, November 24, 2002
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Tomorrow's Promise (Heartland #10) (Paperback)
This was a pretty good book in the series. Amy meets Daniel at a show where he rides his sort of ugly horse, Amber. Amber can really jump! When Amy gets home from the show she sees the new horse her dad sent, Storm. Storm looks exactly like pegasus! Amy and Ty get into a couple of disagreements, especialy about daniel, but as always, things are worked out.
It was pretty good. If you've read any other books in the series you would understand it a little more, but you don't have to. Amy also celebrates the one year aniiversey of her mom's death. Overall, a good book.

This book is about when Amy meets Daniel this person who shows horses, but he acts rather strange. Amber might be the prettiest thing in the world, but her and Daniel work like such a fluent pair. Read more to find out what happens!
