1.0 out of 5 stars Bad!, May 3, 2004

This review is from: Tonfa tactics: A strategy for total defense (Paperback)
A instructional book about the art of the Tonfa. A weapon closely associated with karate and okinawan kobudo.

If you are any kind of serious practicioner of martial arts -dont bother with this book.

It is at best a book where you can find the most elementary techniques described with bad pictures. Most of the book contains totaly useless pictures (with bad graphic) that dont tell you anything.

The only word to describe the book is BAD!

It was writen 1985, but that is no excuse. They wrote good books about martial arts too back then.
The only thing this book can be used as, is as a amusing item for you and your martialartist friends to laugh at. And even there it fails.

To sum it up:
If you are looking for a book about the Tonfa or any martial art related activity. Keep looking!
