Tonic Sol-fa has done a remarkable job with this DVD. I've been a HUGE fan of theirs for about 8 years now, and let me tell you.. This is THE BEST music that I have ever heard them sing!! It's one of my favorite dvd's! I can't stop listening to it! They sing songs like 'Joy to the World', 'Baby King' (MUCH better than on their Carol CD!), 'Little Drummer Boy', and 'God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen', along with NEW songs like, 'Come To Save the World', 'On This Christmas Night', 'Ay Yi Yi It's Christmas', 'Seems Like We Owe Them More Than That', and 'Nuttin for Christmas'...just to name a few. This DVD is a MUST for ANY Tonic Sol-Fa fan! You WON'T be disappointed!

I randomly stumbled across the last 10 minutes of this being broadcast on PBS at about 2AM Christmas Day, and was sufficiently impressed that I went online immediately afterwards and purchased the DVD. Great arrangements/harmonies, perfect intonation, and very personable.

Terrific entertainment from this uniquely talented group!!! Will appeal to any age group. Everyone should see and hear this!!!!!! Ron

By chance I saw this group preform on PBS. I was very happy to purchase this 'Christmas' performance and be able to enjoy it over and over again. What a talented group of young men, just delightful!

I too, like one of the other reviews I read just happened to turn PBS on, on Christmas day but only got to see the last few minutes of the brodcast. I also immediately found out who they are and ordered the dvd and also one of their Christmas cds. They are fantastic and I can't wait to receive my order.

We just love this group - they are funny, extremely talented and family friendly entertainment. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND TONIC-SOL-FA. Service from Amazon was excellent.

Found these guys on PBS and couldn't wait to order the DVD. Made chills up and down my spine!! They are really that good. If you appreciate good music, this is a must-add to your Christmas collection. I'll be looking for their non-holiday shows too.

We first heard Tonic Sol Fa live when we were living in Nebraska. They are an awesome group and their tight harmonies and impeccable rhythm are a joy for the listener. If you like totally a capella singing (with a very few small percussive instruments, mostly bass beat), you will enjoy this dvd.

Last year (07) my family and I caught the last 2 songs of Tonic Sol fa's christmas special. It was so astounding that we ordered this DVD the next Christmas and every song on it floored me. This is one of the most original groups out there today and I will be buying many, many more of their CDs and DVDs.

Tonic Sol-fa will improve when they learn that they need to have greater variety in style. The Bass is great, but does too much Bass Fiddle (walking bass--One-man rhythm section) stuff. Give him more solos; feature him more / be his backup group. Also, the group needs some rubato/legato goosebump harmony numbers (a la some of the old Hi-Lo's acapella songs)-with really sensational chords (with perfect intonation, of course)!!--just for contrast to the terrific rhythmic numbers. Tonic Sol-fa must be accutely aware of the sensational Take-6 group which does the "walking bass" thing more perfectly than any other vocal group in the last 50 years. Even the great Take-6 came to realize they needed more variety! -YOU ARE TERRIFIC! -(but Greatness
awaits you.) !! STUDY the Hi-Lo's CDs and the SINGERS UNLIMITED 7 CD box set. These are the Gold Standard.
