3.0 out of 5 stars Other border punching systems work more precisely, December 2, 2010
This review is from: Tonic Studios 605 Border Punch System (Kitchen)
I have a Tonic Studios Border Punch System with nine interchangeable punches, but I find it very difficult to line up my paper so that each punched-out element is aligned properly with the previous element.

Another problem with this system is that the punches wiggle around in the border system, also making alignment difficult.

The advantage to the Tonic Studios system is that you can use many different punches with the same border guide. However, I find the Fiskars border punches, e.g. Fiskars 12-23367097 Border Punch Sunburst and Martha Stewart edgers e.g.Martha Stewart Edger Floral Lace much easier to align and use on my greeting card edges.

Martha Stewart border punches have matching corner punches, e.g. Martha Stewart Pansy Edge Punch Around the Page, so you can decorate all the way around a sheet of paper. I haven't tried out the corner punches yet because I usually just punch a border on one edge of my card.
