Texas, especially Austin, has produced some fine bands over the last few decades, and Max Cady is begging to be next in line. To the end, witness their debut cd "Tonight Alive." This debut cd is a consistent hard rocking affair. The songs are hard enough to keep the listener awake, with just enough hook to ensure a wide audience.
Overall, the songs don't stray far from the template set by the opening track. A little sonic exploration would certainly serve the band well. Although a close listen will reveal some repetition, it's best to just turn up the volume, pop open a beer and piss off your neighbors.
