1.0 out of 5 stars Huge plot holes
I usually love Miller's books but found this one to be poorly written. The plot holes were gaping and the devices were not worthy of an author of Miller's caliber. For example, Kristina wonders if she'll one day be able to bear a child since she has never menstruated and awakens the next morning with cramps. Puh-leeze...

Where else would we go, Kristina had to have her life and we had to escape and enter it with her. She charmed us in Time Without End and we knew her friendship to Daisy had to continue. She had but one desire and she strove to reach that dream with all of her heart and soul. Never allowing those who loved her to convince her otherwise, she held fast to that one fine thread of hope. Soul to Soul, Heart to Heart with Max. His delicious sexual skills leave us brearthless. Max gives us a mortal man with a heart and soul that loves as deeply as the love between Valerian and Daisy, between Maeve and Calder and we are completely delighted with his girls. The innocence of children is truly revealed in Bree as she accepts Kristina's ability to do magic for she has yet to be corrupted by the present day worlds belief systems. But for me, Dathan's presence in this story truly captured me. Ms. Miller's description of his looks, his presence and his smoking sensuality had me dreaming of him for days. These stories, although each one complete in its own right, should never end. Will we discover more of Dathan in another delightful tale or are we left to envision our own tale of this delightful Warlock. No matter, all four books have held me captive and will remain in my thoughts as some of the greatest stories ever told. So you darling romantic people out there, if you have not read these books, you have missed the love stories of a lifetime and if you have then read My Outlaw next for although it carries a different theme with the Old West, it will charm you into another world of soul to soul love, fantastic sexual pleasures that leave you panting and love that transcends all time.

Linda Lael Miller is one of the best authors when it comes to "romantic" vampires. Very sexy...

5.0 out of 5 stars Kristina's Fortune . . . or Folly, November 25, 2000
This review is from: Tonight And Always (Paperback)
I loved reading about Maeve's daughter. Linda Lael Miller always seems to incorporate the characters from earlier novels into her stories and keeps they old characters "alive" for us!

Please tell me there's more. I'd love to hear Dathan's story and Dimity's and Gideons. Can't wait for the next in the series.

3.0 out of 5 stars GOOD BUT TOO MUCH CRYING!!!, April 11, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Tonight And Always (Paperback)
I was so looking forward to reading this book, therefore I was dissapointed because I think it had too much tears. Everything made Kristina want to cry. I got tired of that story line. I think it was the worse book in the series.

4.0 out of 5 stars Just what I was looking For!, July 8, 1998

I really enjoyed this book. I also enjoyed reading the other three books that go along with the characters in this one. The book had the deep make believe love that I enjoy reading about in romance novels. I would recommend her books to anyone that enjoys romance novels.
