Finally after 5 yeras I ordered the DVD and play it every other day. I was very impressed with hearing "Things" and "Jugglers", 2 songs I've never heard before done in true AWB funk. I thought the DVD showcased some of the very best of the band and it really shows how talented all of the members are. I particulary liked "Person to Person" with its solo acts. I was blown away by the "young machine", Adam Deitch on drums. Freddy kicks butt as usual and Eliot brings me back to the original days of the band with Hamish. I will never get tired of hearing that classic Onnie guitar and one of the best soul voices around in Alan with his funky bass. Hope they continue on for another 10 years so that others can appreicate the one and only sounds of the Average White Band. You won't be dissapointed with the DVD!

If you like old school & new AWB and have been to some of there concerts this a very enjoyable DVD...you should be very pleased.

Excellant DVD, nice bio's between songs.
Being a hardcore AWB fan I'd like more songs: groovin the night away, daddy's all gone, your love is a miracle. etc. etc

I AM A BIG FAN OF THE AVERAGE WHITE BAND THIS BAND DID A GOOD JOB OF COVERING THE MUSIC OF THE ORIGINAL BAND BUT JUST NOT THE SAME THING.

All right! Great dvd. But my question is, were was the "AWB" trademark logo? Without that, and only one partime sax player, I thought I was watching a bunch of guys just groovin'. Don't get me wrong, the music that awb brings is timeless, and will last for ever. However, after watching "Montreux 77" and "house of blues 2000", I'll take 77 easy. Why? I needed to hear Hamosh Stuart. Elliot and Fredy do a great job, but they're not Hamosh. I know bands break up and go their separate ways, but you hear Allen say in the closing credits that "Steve Farronie" was in the crowd. The young machine on the drums is great, he is very talented, but no Farronnie. It would be nice to see the original band do a reunion concert tour. One thing I think was great, was to see Allen do his trademark "Toast to the crowd". This guy does it all, while Ollie is just as smooth as ever. Get this dvd. These guys earned every award given to them, and they "Allen and Ollie" have set the bar so high, I don't know of any other group who made soul/funk for every gender and age. Slow, fast, middle of the road, "AWB" BRINGS IT. AND NEXT TIME, BRING BACK THE LOGO!!!!

The AWB is great in this concert, as in the one live at Montreaux which is slightly better. Nevertheless AWB does an outstanding job on this DVD.

Awesome music... great performance! I'm going to follow up with their web site to see the next time they're live in Detroit!

I enjoyed this DVD from beginning to end. The band (especially the drummer)was tight! A true testament of a good band is how good they sound live! You gotta pick this one up.

This is simply amazing!! It's the first time I have seen AWB and I am ripped apart :)

It's just funk and R&B all over with gracious licks.

The best thing to groove... I love it.
